Construction machine, in particular ground compaction machine, specifically rubber-tired roller, method for operating a construction machine, and method for manufacturing a construction machine
The invention relates to a construction machine (1) with a machine frame (2), a driver cab (6) with a right and a left door-window unit (12) when viewed in a traveling direction (A) of the construction machine (1), wherein the door-window units (12) are adjustable between a closed and an open position, and with a drive engine (13) and front and rear traveling devices (4, 5). Essentially, the door-window units (12) can be opened in an opposite manner, in particular depending on the side of the machine frame (2) on which the front and rear traveling devices (4, 5) respectively sit flush with the machine frame (2). The invention is particularly relevant for ground compaction machines, in particular rubber-tired rollers. The invention further relates to a method for operating a construction machine (1) and a method for manufacturing a construction machine (1).
RUBBER-TIRE ROLLER FOR COMPACTING A GROUND AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A SPRINKLER SYSTEM OF A RUBBER-TIRE ROLLER
A rubber-tired roller for the compaction of a ground, in particular for asphalt compaction, with a machine frame, a drive engine, a chassis driven by said drive engine with a front chassis part and a rear chassis part, at least one chassis part comprising at least two tires with running surfaces, which are arranged next to one another, at least one sprinkler system for the tires of the chassis part, which is configured to apply a liquid separating agent to the running surfaces of the tires, and a control unit for controlling the sprinkler system, wherein a temperature sensor is provided which is configured and arranged such that it determines the temperature of at least one tire, in particular the running surface of said tire. The invention moreover relates to a method for controlling a sprinkler system of such a rubber-tired roller.

Rubber tire roller
The present invention relates to a rubber tire roller for ground compaction, comprising a machine frame and an operating platform and front and rear undercarriages supporting the machine frame, wherein the undercarriages each comprise at least one wheel. A fundamental idea of the present invention lies in viewing indentations that are open to the side.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SELF-PROPELLED ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A method for operating a self-propelled road construction machine as well as a road construction machine with which an adjustment of the traction of the wheeled undercarriage can be performed in a quick and easy manner by monitoring and actively regulating the traction of the tires in dependence on the operating mode of the road construction machine. Pavers and feeders for the making of road covers have a wheeled undercarriage, especially with pneumatic tires. For a uniform production process of the road cover, adequate traction of the tires is needed. For this, prior to the start of the production process the tire air pressure of the tires is decreased, and it is increased once again for travel on the road, and the manual adjustment of the tire air pressure to the installation conditions and/or to the operating mode of the road construction machine is time consuming and cost intensive.

Berm roller
An attachment roller that attaches to a vehicle includes a main body, a plurality of rolling members, and at least one attachment arm. The rolling members are attached to the main body such that movement of the vehicle causes the rolling members to rotate and move the attachment roller. The at least one attachment arm is attached to the vehicle and the main body of the attachment roller. When the attachment roller is attached to the vehicle by the at least one attachment arm, the attachment roller has a path of travel that is not aligned on or within and is substantially parallel to a path of travel of the vehicle.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for determining machine weight using rolling resistance
Systems, methods, and apparatuses can determine weight of a machine using rolling resistance. The machine may be electrified, either all-electrically powered or partially electrically powered. The rolling resistance can be determined based on motor signaling from one or more motor sensors that sense motor characteristics (e.g., drawn current) from one or more electric motors that drive the machine. The weight of the machine can be determined using the determined rolling resistance. Weight information can be output for display on a display and/or for storing in computer-readable storage onboard and/or offboard the machine.
