Paver machine and a method for paver screed height calibration

A paver machine includes a screed arranged to level out road material disposed on the ground and a pressure actuated screed lifting cylinder arranged to lift and lower the screed with respect to the ground. A pressure sensor is arranged to measure the pressure in the cylinder when the screed is being lifted or lowered. Further a control unit configured to receive pressure data from the pressure sensor indicative of the pressure in the screed lifting cylinder when the screed is being lifted by the screed lifting cylinder. Based on analysing the pressure data, the control unit sets a reference height position for the screed.

The cooling package may include a housing, a cooler, a heat exchanger, a conduit, and plurality of nozzles mounted on the conduit. The cooler may be configured to receive heated machine fluid generated by the machine. The heat exchanger may be configured to convey heat away from the cooler and may include a plurality of fins coupled to and extending outward from the cooler. The plurality of fins may define a plurality of channels. The conduit may be disposed between the housing and the plurality of fins. The plurality of nozzles are configured to discharge a fluid on the fins. The fluid may be air or a release agent. In some embodiments, a release agent may be discharged on the fins prior to the discharge of air on the fins.

Screed arrangement

A screed arrangement for a paver machine includes a screed body including a deflector member and a base plate, and an oscillating tamper bar arrangement positioned between the deflector member and the base plate. The screed arrangement further includes a connecting element connecting the oscillating tamper bar arrangement and the screed body to each other.

A paver for laying down a strip of concrete and, with a dowel bar inserter module as part of the paver, inserting dowel bars into and parallel with to the concrete strip. The dowel bar inserter module has an operational width capable of covering paved concrete strips of greater than 34 feet. In some implementations, the dowel bar inserter module has an operational width of 36 feet, 40 feet, or 50 feet.
