Luminescent markings
Reflective luminescent markings on a road or sign surface are formed by applying onto the surface a base material which is liquid in an initial state for application and sets or cures to form a solid layer after application where the base material contains a fine/medium filler material of glass ground from recycled materials in a rotary mill. Coarse material from the grinder is separated out and supplied as a separate material to be applied onto the surface of the layer of base material and fine ground glass. The base material is connected or impregnated with a luminescent material such as photo luminescent 2 4 6 trichlorophenyl in a binder such as polyurea.

SYSTEM FOR AIR AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Disclosed is a system for horizontal marking of air and ground transportation. The system comprises at least one sheet of a pliant mesh material that is preferably at least 30% open when in use and preferably has a ground footprint weight of at least 0.4 kg/m.sup.2. The marking system is adapted to be disposed on an horizontal surface in a generally horizontal fashion, so as to provide a sign for conveying information to air and/or ground traffic. Also disclosed is a method of directing air or ground traffic using such a horizontal marking system.

Thermoplastic pavement marking tapes
The present disclosure generally relates to non-conformable thermoplastic pavement marking tapes comprising a backing and an adhesive layer adjacent to the backing. In some embodiments, the backing includes an ionic copolymer. In other embodiments, the non-conformable backing has an inelastic deformation of less than 10% at 25 C. In some embodiments, the pavement marking tape is heat-moldable.

Contrast Surface Marking Devices and Systems
What is needed is an apparatus and system for creating high contrast to heighten marking conspicuousness and heighten driver safety under extreme light conditions. According to the present disclosure, a ridged contrast surface marking may comprise a topography that may allow for consistently visible and conspicuous messaging of proximate base surface markings, which may limit loss of visibility or conspicuity during extreme light conditions. In some aspects, ridged contrast surface markings may be used in conjunction with more traditional contrasting and color techniques, such as with painting, coating, or tape. Ridged contrast surface markings may provide surrounding contrast to flat messaging or other profiled solutions, wherein even if light reflection in extreme light conditions may reduce visibility of the message, sufficient surrounding contrast would still allow for comprehension of the message.
POWER-GENERATING AND ROTATING ROAD MARKER USING MAGNET
The present invention provides a power-generating and rotating road marker using a magnet, in which a magnet is inserted into a waste golf ball and light is emitted using power generated via the magnet, so that a vehicle driver can easily identify a road even at night, thereby enabling the vehicle driver to perform safe driving. In particular, the present invention provides a power-generating and rotating road marker using a magnet, in which a magnetic electrode unit is disposed in a waste golf ball, power generated by the magnetic electrode unit is supplied to a light emission unit, and the light emission unit is allowed to flicker, so that an effect arises in that a vehicle driver can easily identify the flickering light emission unit and thus perform safe driving even at night, thereby preventing a traffic accident from occurring.
