LUMINESCENT ROAD MARKINGS
Methods and systems for marking roads include providing a luminescent marking solution applied to a surface of a road to form a luminescent marking. The luminescent marking is shaped to indicate information to a driver of a vehicle on the road and is configured to emit light that is visible to the driver.

Marker installation method and marker installation system
An installation system has a laser range finder set at a reference position to measure a distance to a target, an installation cart which performs operation for laying a magnetic marker in a road, and an arithmetic unit which identifies a position relation of a laying position where the magnetic marker is laid with respect to the reference position. When operation for laying the magnetic marker in a road is performed, by taking the installation cart during performing the operation of laying the magnetic marker in the road as a target, based on a distance to the installation cart measured by the laser range finder, the position relation of the laying position with respect to the reference position is identified by the arithmetic unit.

Curing of reaction resins using unsaturated peroxides as initiators and organic phosphites as accelerators
A novel reaction resin formulation having a significantly improved properties profile contains crosslinkers, monomers, urethane methacrylates, prepolymers, optional further auxiliaries, and a curing system containing permaleinates and a tertiary organic phosphite. The reaction resin formulation is useful for marking driving surfaces or coating surfaces. The reaction resins, above all based on a novel curing system, show an improved combination of higher long-term storage stability, improved toxicological profile, reduced curing time, a low yellowing tendency and a better colour fastness.
High content polyamide hot-applied thermoplastic composition
A hot applied thermoplastic pavement composition and method of using a hot applied thermoplastic pavement composition includes a modified polyamide resin in the range of between 3 and 10 percent by weight, wherein the composition contains rosin-modified esters, a copolymer, 30-70 percent by weight of a glass bead intermix, a range of between 1 and 15 percent by weight of either white or yellow pigment, the balance of the composition being selected from the group consisting of one or more plasticizers, inorganic fillers, waxes, antioxidants and light stabilizers.

ROADWAY MARKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention is a roadway marking having a recessed longitudinal groove provided in the roadway parallel to the direction of traffic. The groove has an inclined bottom surface that gradually tapers upward in the direction of traffic on the roadway. At least one retroreflective element is provided in the groove. The retroreflective element can be a reflector, a preformed reflective member, or a layer of retroreflective beads provided on a water-based or thermoplastic binder.
