ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE CARRIAGEWAY MARKING
An electrically conductive carriageway marking includes a carrier strip, electrically conductive wires extending along the carrier strip, an electrically insulating covering layer covering the wires, a power feed formed by an interface connecting the wires to a supply line, and interfaces arranged spaced apart from each other along the carriageway marking and having electrical contact areas. The contact areas include contact elements protruding laterally from the carriageway marking, and the supply line is connectable to a first contact area of the wires and a second contact area of the wires by electrical contacts that can be tapped off. In the region of the contact areas the covering layer is formed by a detachable adhesive protective strip, and the protective strip is connected via predetermined break points or perforations to adjoining sections of the covering layer, and the wires are exposed by detaching the protective strip.
Method and System for Autonomous Vehicles
A method and system for facilitating cost effective, reliable, system redundant, self-driving vehicles involves the employment of specialized lane marking components that permit unprecedented sensor feedback, and in particular, a system and method that enables accurate lane marking recognition despite adverse weather conditions, which presently pose problems experienced by self-driving systems that rely upon vision based camera systems.
Reconfigurable one piece water permeable paver
A reflective and directional water permeable paver system, which has a plurality of connection cells and is configured to support traffic, includes a marker insert. The marker insert has a continuous body wall with at least one tensioning marker rib extending from the continuous body wall. The marker insert has an insert head. The insert head diameter extending beyond the continuous body wall of the marker insert. The marker insert body diameter is substantially equal to the inner wall diameter of at least one of the connection cells.

Traffic control light strip
A traffic control light strip supports a plurality of light emitting diode illumination devices within a plurality of LED units upon an elongated supporting strip. A power and control unit responsive to operator inputs is operatively coupled to the LED units to provide selective illumination patterns of the light emitting diodes. The traffic control light strip is supported by a flexible elongated base member which allows the entire traffic control light strip to be rolled upon a storage reel from a deployed configuration to a convenient storage configuration. In an alternate embodiment, the traffic control light strip includes a pair of extendable hinge coupled support members that facilitate folding the traffic control light strip to a closed transport and storage configuration.

Driving assistance method and system
A driving assistance system and method is provided that includes a plurality of magnetic markers having a magnet component configured to generate a magnetic field on a road surface, together with a pavement marking material that includes a RFID tag that is readable by a RFID tag reader. The pavement marking material includes encoded information that is conveyed to a vehicle's on-board sensing system that is adapted to obtain data through wireless communications. The magnetic markers are conformable, polymeric materials having viscoelastic properties such that vehicles having magnetic sensors can detect magnetic fields from the magnetic markers when positioned on a road surface.
Temporary flexible pavement markers
A temporary flexible pavement marker comprising a base, a stand and a protective shield wherein at least part of the stand is reflective and the protective shield is configured to prevent materials sprayed down upon the temporary flexible pavement marker from obscuring the reflective part of the stand may be employed in the construction or repair of roads. Since the protective shield prevents asphalt from obscuring the reflective part of the stand during spraying operations there is no need for removal of a protective layer from the markers after a spraying operation.
