Wheel stop
An apparatus includes a base having a length in a first direction, a height in a second direction different from the first direction, and a depth in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction. The base includes at least one sidewall having an outer surface, an inner surface, and an edge defining an open end of a cavity within the base. The base also includes a plurality of ribs extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. The ribs of the plurality of ribs are separated from one another along the first direction. The base further includes at least one tube extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. The apparatus also includes at least one plaque removably attached to the outer surface of base.
SELF-POWERED DELINEATOR INCLUDING LIGHTING-EMITTER
A self-powered delineator includes a wind-powered rotatable module; a first piezoelectric energy generator module for generating electrical energy; a second piezoelectric energy generator module for generating electrical energy; and a light-emitter. The wind-powered rotatable module includes one or more first magnets spacedly arranged around a rotation shaft. The first piezoelectric energy generator module includes one or more first piezoelectric elements, and one or more second magnets disposed on the at least one first piezoelectric element. The second piezoelectric energy generator module includes at least one elastic base extending radially from a fixed shaft in a cantilever manner; and at least one second piezoelectric element on the at least one elastic base.

Traffic channelizer
A modular system for separating traffic into discrete zones includes a plurality of rail segments pivotally secured to rail mounts. The mounts are configured for rapid and straightforward coupling of rail segments thereto. Moreover, the mounts may be quickly installed and de-installed from a road surface. The overall system therefore provides a physical barrier system that is easily installed and easily modifiable into desired arrangements. Its modular construction of any number of a plurality of distinct rail segments further facilitates customized channelizing design.
Ground surface marker and method for surface marking
The invention relates to a ground surface marker and method for surface marking. It is known to apply surface markings, for example road markings, using paint. Many current road marking paints have a touch dry time from about five minutes to one hour, with full drying taking 24 hours or more, depending on the air temperature. The dry time of current paints can delay the opening of a road which may be costly because it increases the need for traffic control and can expose contractors to motoring hazards. If roads are opened prior to full drying of the paint, then the road markings may be compromised by contact with vehicle wheels. The invention aims to go at least some way toward addressing these problems by providing a ground surface marker comprising a paint applicator, a dispenser associated with reflectors, and a UV light source.

Collapsible lane delineator
A collapsible boundary delineator includes a base for placement on a ground surface and a divider member that is movable relative to the base between a raised, operative position and a lowered, inoperative position. The base includes a pair of base members that are engageable with each other, and the divider member includes a pair of spaced apart ends secured one to each of the base members. When the base members are engaged together the divider member is in the raised, operative position and when the base members are disengaged from each other the divider member is in the lowered, inoperative position. A selectively releasable latch arrangement carried by the base members is movable between a latching position for selectively maintaining the base members in engagement with each other and a release position for selectively enabling the base members to be moved apart from each other.

Recyclable Plastic structural articles and method of manufacture
The plastic structural article includes an elongated tubular shell having opposed end sections, a middle section there between and an interior cavity. The interior cavity has a foam core situated therein. The foam core comprises steam expandable polymer beads which when expanded substantially fill the interior cavity. The bead and shell are of a similar plastic composition enabling the articles to be reground and recycled. An apparatus for forming the articles and an associated method of manufacture are also disclosed. A thermal management system includes a panel having a periphery, and a skin having a thermal bond to an in-situ foam core. The panel has a thermal transmittance u-value ranging from 0.1 to 0.17 W/m.sup.2 C.
