A method of operating an incursion warning system for a work zone, the incursion warning system comprising: a plurality of sensor units arranged about a perimeter of the work zone; and a plurality of alarm units each comprising one or more of an audio, visual or haptic alarm operable to warn a workforce of a potential danger in response to a detected breach into the work area; the method comprising: establishing a geo-zone delimiting a geographical area that includes at least part of the work zone; and a set of rules associated with the geo-zone; deriving an instruction for one of the alarm units determined to be in the geo-zone from the set of rules based on a characteristic of the alarm unit and a characteristic(s) of one or more other alarm units determined to be within the geo-zone; and wherein the instruction is derived in response to a change in a characteristic of the alarm unit and/or the one or more other alarm units and/or one or more of the sensor units within the geo-zone.

A positionable warning sign device provides a portable unit which facilitates identification of a traffic hazard. The device includes a primary member, a first arm, and a second arm. The first and second arms are coupled to the primary member and pivotally positionable to form an end of an arrow. Light emitters are coupled to respective front walls of the primary member, the first arm and the second arm. Arcuate projections extend from the primary member defining a receiver. A projection extends upwardly from a top end of a tripod. An upper portion of the projection is insertable into the receiver whereby the primary member is coupled to the tripod and supported on the lip. A power supply is operationally coupled to the plurality of light emitters.

The arms and locking projections are configured to spread apart to enable insertion of a cable between the arms, wherein the gripping projections engage and grip the cable, and wherein the locking projections are configured to be inserted into the aperture of the supporting structure.

Alternatively, the body is made from a plurality of telescoping tubes, in one or both ends. The LED strand may be secured within the body or to the outside of the body.

Cap assembly for a t-post right of way line marker

A cap assembly is shown for a right of way line marker which includes a cap body with a conical exterior and an end opening. A mounting assembly including a lower, stationary disk and an upper, sliding disk are received within the end opening of the cap body. The lower disk has a T-shaped aperture therein for receiving an upper exposed end of a T-shaped vertical support member. The upper sliding disk is positionable within the cap open interior upon contact with the upper end of the support member to thereby securely mount the cap assembly about the right of way line marker.
