Traffic Director and System and Method for Use Thereof
A traffic director includes a distal end and a proximal end, two or more sides extending upward from the proximal end at an angle toward the distal end, a proximal notch disposed near the proximal end between two adjacent sides, and the proximal notch forms a first flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include one or more recessed channels formed in at least one of the two or more sides. The one or more recessed channels forms a second flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include a removable indicator sleeve having an advertisement or directional indicator printed thereon.
Temporary Light Strip System
A modular system of light strips is configured for use on a roadway surface. The light strips are configured to withstand vehicular traffic, such as passenger cars, trucks, and even heavy equipment such as found in a construction zone. The light strips have a rigid, durable housing that protects a series of LEDs within the housing. The LEDs are preferably positioned fully within the housing, with lenses directing light from the LEDs through the sidewall of the housing and toward vehicular traffic on the roadway. The channel is filled with a protective material, such as a polymer resin, for example a polyurethane resin, that serves to protect the LEDs and power supply running within the channel. The modular system can be provided with a power source, such as solar panels, or alternatively configured for connection to a power grid. The modular system can include one or more sensors to activate the system or alternatively to control the brightness of the lights in the system and be configured with light strips that connect together or can be substituted for one another allowing them to be interchangeable and easily carried, moved, installed and disassembled.
Barrier body arrangement for a passage barrier of an access control system
A barrier body arrangement for a passage barrier of an access control system, includes at least a first substantially optically transparent barrier body having a first light coupling surface, at least one second substantially optically transparent barrier body having at least one second light coupling surface, wherein the first barrier body is connected to the second barrier body, at least one light source device configured to couple light into the first light coupling surface and/or the second light coupling surface, and at least one substantially optical transparent separation layer arranged between the first barrier body and the second barrier body.
SIGN POST FLASHER ASSEMBLY
Various examples are directed to apparatus and methods for providing a sign post flasher assembly. An apparatus includes an elongated assembly having one or more channels, and one or more light sources configured to be placed within the one or more channels. The apparatus also includes an electrically conductive material configured to electrically connect the one or more light sources, and a covering material configured to cover the electrically conductive material to provide a waterproof seal. The elongated assembly is configured to be affixed to and align with a front of a sign post along a length of the sign post, and the electrically conductive material is configured to be connected to a controller to control flashing of the one or more light sources.
CONE ATTACHMENT DEVICE
A traffic cone attachment system may include a top disc positioned against an opening in a top of a traffic cone. The traffic cone attachment system may include a shaft coupled to the top disc, the shaft spanning the opening in the top of the traffic cone and extending in a vertical direction. A washer may be disposed around the shaft and positioned on an opposite side of the opening from the top disc. The traffic cone attachment system may include a star lock disposed around a length of the shaft such that the washer is interposed between the opening and the star lock. A traffic cone attachment device may be coupled to the traffic cone attachment system. A traffic cone system may include a plurality of traffic cones, each traffic cone of the plurality including a traffic cone attachment system and a traffic cone attachment device.

ARRANGEMENT IN TRAFFIC SIGN FOR REPLACING PLATE PART
An arrangement in a traffic sign for replacing a plate part (4) included therein, whereby the traffic sign comprises a plurality of mutually differing plate parts (4a, 4b) of which one at a time may be switched visible and directed on a traffic route. A first body part (1) of the traffic sign, most suitably a vertical post is fixedly installed and has, adapted as an extension by a bearing (11);(12), a second body part (10) which is turnable by means of a power device (7), such as an electric motor, and to said second body part (10) there are connected different plate parts (4a, 4b) directed in different directions, whereby the desired plate part of said plate parts is turnable in the direction of the traffic route by means of said power device, and that the traffic sign includes one or more cover parts (6) that cover those plate parts (4a) or (4b) that are not meant to control traffic.
NETWORKABLE DEVICES FOR INTERNAL ILLUMINATION OF TRAFFIC CONES AND OTHER TRAFFIC CHANNELIZING DEVICES
Devices, systems and methods for causing light (visible or invisible) or other forms of energy to be emitted from traffic cones or other traffic channelizing or marking devices such as barrels, tubes, some buoys, some types of signs, etc.
