Vehicle with internal and/or external monitoring
A street sweeper configured to clean a street can include: at least one broom or sprayer configured to clean a street, a street surface deviation detection device coupled to the street sweeper, the street surface deviation detection device being configured to detect visual signatures of defects in a surface of the street; and a position device to measure the position of the street sweeper, wherein the position device is programmed to send the position to a central server.
DISK BROOM, SWEEPING DEVICE AND FLOOR CLEANING MACHINE
A floor cleaning machine that includes a disc broom that is rotatable about a rotation axis. The disc broom has a base body, bristles and a cover element. The base body has a circumferential outer edge. The bristles are attached at one end to the base body and extend away from the base body towards a sweeping plane that is perpendicular to the rotation axis. The cover element has a shell that is made of a flexible material. The shell extends away from the base body and towards the sweeping plane. The shell has an inner side, which faces an interior of the shell, and an outer side that faces an exterior of the shell. The shell envelopes the bristles perpendicularly to the rotation axis such that the bristles are disposed in the interior of the shell. A related disc broom and sweeping device are also provided.
Detecting Road Anomalies
An apparatus is provided which includes a processing circuit and a plurality of sensors connected to a vehicle, where at least one of the plurality of sensors is positioned on an undercarriage of the vehicle. The plurality of sensors can detect variations in a road on which the vehicle is traveling. The plurality of sensors can also generate information corresponding to the variations of the road. The plurality of sensors can also transmit the information corresponding to the variations in the road to the processing circuit. The information collected by the plurality of sensors may then be used to augment a driving capability of the vehicle.
Roadway sweeper with multiple sweeping modes
A roadway or pavement sweeper with multiple sweeping modes for the removal of debris from a swept surface may, in some embodiments, include a sweeper vehicle having a pair of side-brooms independently movable between a retracted and extended position for sweeping debris into an area therebetween and at least one material-transfer broom to sweep a portion of the debris accumulated between the side-brooms as the vehicle moves in its direction of travel. A fan-driven suction-inlet may be provided at or adjacent each side of the vehicle. The at least one material-transfer broom may rotate in a first or other direction to transfer debris for entrainment into a selected suction-inlet for transfer to a debris hopper. Other embodiments are also described.
Barn floor cleaner
An apparatus is provided for cleaning a floor, and in particular a barn floor having a lower portion and an elevated portion that intersect to form a curb. The apparatus is attached to a vehicle that travels in a longitudinal direction. The apparatus includes a scraper for scraping the lower portion of the floor. The scraper is pivotally attached to the vehicle for adjusting a transverse position of an end of the scraper into abutment with the curb. The apparatus also includes a cleaning head for moving material from the elevated portion of the floor. The cleaning head is attached to an arm. The arm is pivotally attached to the scraper for adjusting a transverse position of the cleaning head into alignment with the elevated portion of the floor. The cleaning head is actuated to sweep material transversely into the path of the scraper as the vehicle moves in the longitudinal direction.
FLOOR SCRUBBER CLEANING SYSTEM FOR HEATING A CLEANING SOLUTION
A floor scrubber cleaning system includes a combustion engine powered floor scrubber using at least one rotating scrubbing brush. A tank or reservoir is sued for supplying a cleaning solution to the scrubbing brush for cleaning a floor. A heat exchanger uses hot exhaust gasses from the combustion engine to heat the cleaning solution where it is dispensed directly onto the floor.
BOARDING SWEEPER
A boarding sweeper comprises a cleaning working unit capable of executing cleaning work, a seat portion for seating a user, an operation input unit that allows the user to input a driving operation, and a battery holder that detachably holds a battery unit, wherein, when an area on one lateral side with respect to a virtual line passing through in a front-and-rear direction of a vehicle body in plan view is defined as a first area and an area on the other lateral side is defined as a second area, the cleaning working unit, the seat portion, and the operation input unit are disposed in the first area, and the battery holder is disposed in the second area.
Dish Brush for Sweeping Machines with Demountable Segmental Plate Elements provided with Brush Plugs.
A dish brush for conventional sweeping machines has a polygonal central base plate and trapezoidal demountable or removable segmental plates each provided with multiple brush plugs. I-shaped radial profiles are equispaced about the periphery of the base plate, are welded to apices thereof, and have respective axes radially directed toward a center of the base plate. The central base plate has contour edge plates 4 fixed to a planar center portion via two of the I-shaped radial profiles and inclined at an angle relative to the planar center portion. The demountable segmental plates are each slidable to mount between two I-shaped profiles and are each bolted to a respective one of the contour edge plates.
A MACHINE FOR REMOVING PAINT AND OTHER UNWANTED MATERIAL FROM TURF, AND RELATED DEVICES AND METHODS
A machine for removing paint and other unwanted material from turf comprises a vacuum device operable to remove paint and other material from turf, a scrubbing device operable to strip paint from the turf, and a chassis that carries the vacuum device and scrubbing device across the turf.
