Electrically powered, universal accessory drive
A modular drive assembly may include an electric motor, a housing at least partially enclosing the motor, an electronic connection assembly configured to electrically couple the electric motor to a host device, and an accessory attachment assembly configured to mechanically couple the modular drive assembly to an accessory to operate a working assembly of the accessory using only electrical power provided from the host device. The accessory attachment assembly may be configured to be releasably attached to the accessory and at least one other accessory of a different type than the accessory.
Adjustable-width modular broom assembly for sweeping machine
A vehicular sweeping machine that is adapted to rotate a broom about a substantially horizontal axis to sweep material into a broom conveyor of fixed width is provided with a modular broom assembly that can accommodate a broom of a first length and a broom of a second length that is longer than the first length. The modular broom assembly includes a primary broom enclosure that is adapted to accommodate the broom of the first length, and an extension assembly that includes broom extension components which are adapted to be installed on the primary broom enclosure to increase the width of the primary broom enclosure to accommodate the broom of the second length, and to direct material swept by the broom of the second length into the broom conveyor.
Cantilevered debris plow and method of clearing debris
A method of clearing debris from under a parked trailer comprising: a) engaging, with a cantilevered debris mover, a surface having debris accumulated thereon and positioned under at least one parked trailer having at least a front portion which is cantilevered; and b) removing said debris accumulated upon said surface under said at least one parked trailer to a surface not located under said at least one trailer; wherein said cantilevered debris mover further comprises: i) a powered mobile prime mover capable of providing a source of power to an accessory; and ii) an accessory configured as a cantilevered debris plow further comprising: 1) a closed end allowing intake of debris; 2) an open end allowing discharge of debris; 3) a mounting plate for attachment to said prime mover; and 4) a powered debris engager configured to accept power from said powered mobile prime mover.
Line stripper with deployable sweeper
The line striper comprises a material deployment system configured to receive a material from a material source and deliver the received material to a deployment mechanism, wherein the deployment mechanism is configured to apply the received material to a surface. The line striper also comprises a mechanical debris removal system configured to, when actuated, move along an application path ahead of the deployment mechanism such that debris is dislodged from the surface, wherein the mechanical debris removal system comprises a contact mechanism configured to facilitate dislodging of the debris from the surface.
DEBRIS DEFLECTING SYSTEM
A debris deflecting system for a milling machine includes at least one deflecting element disposed proximate to a component of the milling machine. The deflecting element is configured to deflect debris away from a front end of the component. The component includes at least one side plate of the milling machine and/or at least one sensor of the milling machine. The debris deflecting system also includes at least one actuating element coupled to the deflecting element. The actuating element is configured to actuate the deflecting element to deflect the debris away from the front end of the component.
Curb Sweeper Apparatus for Blade-Carrying Machines
A curb sweeping apparatus for releasable engagement with a blade of a blade-carrying machine such as a motor grader, for example, the blade being arcuate in cross-section and having a top edge and a bottom cutting edge, the sweeping apparatus being comprised of a height and depth adjustable mounting assembly, a carrier frame fixedly connected to the mounting assembly, and a motor-driven rotary sweeper comprised of a sweeper brush assembly rotatably mounted to the carrier frame and a sweeper motor mounted to the carrier frame and operably coupled to the sweeper brush assembly.
Cleaning device
A cleaning device with a frame can be driven on a ground surface and with a vibrating screen which is mounted on the frame such that it can be moved to a limited extent and which is connected to a contact element. A vibrating roller is attached to the frame such that it can be rotated about a rotary axis, and it has an outer surface, in which radial elevations are formed. A pre-tensioning element pre-tensions the vibrating screen such that the contact element lies against the vibrating roller.
Towable electric sweeper, dumpster, and power source
Disclosed is a versatile trailer that may be towed from job site to job site by a vehicle and within a job site be towed by a maintenance cart. The trailer may function as a mobile sweeper to clean smaller parking lots found at schools and parks as well as sweep pathways, lawns, and sidewalks to remove litter, debris, and plant waste. The trailer contains a hopper to collect material both swept by the broom from the area below the trailer as it is towed as well as allowing material to be deposited into the hopper from above the trailer. The hopper is designed so as to allow any material contained within the hopper to be deposited onto the ground or into a dumpster. Finally the trailer is designed so that the electrical power source used to operate the broom and the hopper lift mechanism may be concurrently used by maintenance workers to supply electrical energy needed to operate any electrically based power tools and equipment.
POWER SWEEPER
A power sweeper has a handle having a first end graspable by a user and a second end, a drive shaft extending along the handle, and a power head coupled to the handle to rotate the drive shaft. A gear box is coupled to the drive shaft adjacent the second end, and a brush is coupled to the gear box for rotation in response to rotation of the drive shaft. The power sweeper includes an axle, and first and second wheels coupled to the axle. A shield is coupled to the gear box and defines an aperture through which the handle extends. The axle is moveable with respect to the shield and the brush to adjust an angle between the handle and the ground surface.
VEHICLE ASSISTED CLEANING METHOD
A vehicle assisted working device for cleaning streets and similar surfaces includes at least one brush for detachment of the extraneous material from the surface, element for providing an underpressure for a suction of the detached material into the air flow from the surface, units for separating the detached material from the air flow and for providing an overpressure and return of the separated air to the surface. At least one brush is arranged to rotate counter-wise to the intended direction of movement of the working device, so that the element are ordered in such a way that when the working device is intended to move over a spot to be cleaned, it treats the spot in the following order: suction of the extraneous materials, at least one brush and mechanism for return of the separated air to the surface. Also disclosed are a system and method for cleaning.
