Plow for use with automobiles and other vehicles
A personal use plow for pushing, but not limited to, snow and slush from one's driveway by most passenger automobiles and/or ATVs that is attached using a unique strapping and cog bracing system. The plow is made of injected molded structural foam plastic and comes in five (5) separate panels that can be easily assembled into a solid plow blade. This material is lightweight and allows for easy transportation, storage and use. When assembled, the plow can be used either in the front or back of the vehicle. The plow attaches to the vehicle by a special hook, designed as part of this patent, which attaches to the hood, trunk or luggage rack of the vehicle. All parts for the functionality of the plow are contained on the plow itself, so there are no brackets or hitches required to be attached to the bumpers of the vehicle.
Convertible plow system for a vehicle
A convertible snow plow system attachable to frame of a light duty truck, SUV or other suitable vehicle. The blade portion of the plow system is movable between deployed and retracted positions. In the retracted position the blade is positioned in front of the radiator and headlights of the vehicle functioning as a brush guard. To permit air to pass through the plow blade to the radiator, the blade comprises a plurality of movable louvers that can be opened when the plow is in the retracted position.
Shopping facility assistance systems, devices and methods
Apparatuses, components and methods are provided herein useful to provide assistance to customers and/or workers in a shopping facility. In some embodiments, a shopping facility personal assistance system comprises: a plurality of motorized transport units located in and configured to move through a shopping facility space; a plurality of user interface units, each corresponding to a respective motorized transport unit during use of the respective motorized transport unit; and a central computer system having a network interface such that the central computer system wirelessly communicates with one or both of the plurality of motorized transport units and the plurality of user interface units, wherein the central computer system is configured to control movement of the plurality of motorized transport units through the shopping facility space based at least on inputs from the plurality of user interface units.
Vehicle supported implement for handling separate loads independently
A vehicle supported implement for handling separate loads independently, and related methods of use, are presented. The implement is configured to move a load, such as a hay bale, rotating the load radially about an axis, from a first position at a first elevation to a second position at a second elevation. It includes a first frame member and a second frame member pivotally connected to the first frame member at a joint. The axis of rotation intersects the joint normal to the back side of the first frame member and the second frame member rotates radially about the axis of rotation between the first position and the second position. The implement includes an actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder, connected to the frame members to control the rotation. The implement includes an attachment feature on the back side to secure it to a vehicle.
Method and snow removal blade for the removal of snow from a road surface
A snow removal blade has a rolling body, a snow-removal knife connected to a bottom portion of the rolling body, a plurality of nozzles for delivering a melting liquid on the snow left on the road surface by the snow-removal knife, and a member for mixing together and pressing the residual snow and the melting liquid, which is arranged behind the snow-removal knife in a direction of advance of the snow removal blade, the snow-removal knife and the mixing and pressing member delimiting between them a channel for lateral outlet of the snow, arranged in which are the delivery nozzles.
Modular mower deck for use with a lawnmower
A ride-on vehicle, such as a zero turn radius lawnmower, includes a main chassis having first and second pivot joints, a first rocker arm having a caster wheel on a first end portion and a drive wheel on a second end portion, and a second rocker arm having a caster wheel on a first end portion and a drive wheel on a second end portion, wherein the first rocker arm and the second rocker arm are independently pivotally coupled to the respective first and second pivot joints of the main chassis at a location between the caster wheels and the drive wheels. The ride-on vehicle may also include a modular mower deck assembly with a plurality of mower deck modules having a blade assembly, an electric blade motor configured to provide rotation to the blade assembly, and an attachment assembly configured to enable attachment between adjacent mower deck modules.
ACTUATABLE PLOW BLADE GROUND SUPPORT METHOD AND APPARATUS
A ground support apparatus for a material moving implement configured for moving a material from a surface. The material moving implement has a front surface and a rear surface. The ground support apparatus includes an actuating system that has at least one skid shoe actuator attached to the rear surface of the material moving implement, and at least one skid shoe operably coupled to the at least one skid shoe actuator. The skid shoe includes a first end configured for coupling to the at least one skid shoe actuator and a second end configured for contacting the surface. The ground support apparatus also includes manually-operated skid shoe controls operably connected to the actuating system and operable to actuate the at least one skid shoe actuator.
Four wheel drive, skid steer snow vehicle with snow plow blade
A snow plow is pivotally mounted to a tractor by a compound mount allowing for multiple blade positions. The mount has an inner portion pivotally mounted about a first horizontal axis to the front of the tractor and an outer portion pivotally mounted about a vertical axis to the inner portion. The plow blade is pivotally mounted about a second horizontal axis to the outer portion. Deicer nozzles spray liquid and a spreader distributes salt and other materials in front of the front wheels of the tractor.
ACCESSORY MOUNT ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A plow mount assembly shown herein is positioned on a side-by-side vehicle configured to selectively attach and detach. The plow system may selectively engage mounting bars located on a vehicle subframe through the movement of a lever arm and may further be locked into place through a plurality of pins and apertures. Further, the plow system may be vertically positionable through a series of vertically spaced mounting holes allowing for the vehicle herein to be a variety of different heights due to frame configuration and/or varying heights of ground engaging members.
Bucket mountable plow
Bucket mountable plow suitable for mounting on a front bucket of a loader vehicle may include a clamp assembly configured for mounting on the front bucket of the loader vehicle. A plow blade mount assembly may be carried by the clamp assembly. The plow blade mount assembly may have a fore-aft axis configured to be oriented along a direction of travel of the loader vehicle. A plow blade may be carried by the plow blade mount assembly. The plow blade may be disposed at a blade angle with respect to the fore-aft axis.
