WING PLOW
A wing plow including a main moldboard; a first side plate secured to a first end of the main moldboard by a first hinge having a first vertical axis of rotation and a second side plate secured to a second opposing end of the main moldboard by a second hinge having a second vertical axis of rotation. The wing plow further includes a first actuator driving the first side plate and a second actuator driving the second side plate. Optionally, a programmable logic controller (PLC) is operably coupled to the first actuator and the second actuator and is programmed to control the first actuator and the second actuator to position the first side plate and the second side plate based on a sensed angle of orientation of the main moldboard and a plurality of modes that are operator selectable.
Side snowplow including land leveler
A side snowplow including a land leveler, comprising: a rear mounted seat, a hydraulic cylinder I, a pull rod, a snow-pushing board, an oscillating rod, a hydraulic cylinder II, and a front mounted seat. The rear mounted seat is fixed on a rear portion of a rear rack of the land leveler and connected to the pull rod; the hydraulic cylinder I is hingedly connected to the rear mounted seat, and the pull rod; and the snow-pushing board is positioned at a left side or a right side of the land leveler and inclines toward a direction that the land leveler moves, a rear end of the snow-pushing board being connected to the hinge plate II, a front end of the snow-pushing board being connected to the hinge plate III.
Wing plow apparatus
A wing plow assembly may include a base configured for attachment to a vehicle; an upper arm rotatable about a first axis; a lower arm rotatable about a second axis; a lifting member rotatable about a third axis; a support pivotally attached to the upper arm and the lower arm; and an actuator pivotally attached to the base and the lifting member; wherein the actuator is configured for raising and lowering the support by engagement of the lifting member with the upper arm; wherein the lifting member is rotationally decoupled from the upper arm such that the upper arm is disengageable from the lifting member. At least one of the first axis and the second axis may be configured to be substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
Wheeled snowplough system
A snowplough system of the type being releasably anchored to a front end of a vehicle comprises a plough blade. A vehicle interface is adapted to be releasably anchored to the vehicle. A snowplough interface is operatively connected to the vehicle interface and comprises a structure supporting the plough blade, the structure being movable to displace the plough blade between a ploughing position and a retracted position. A wheel unit is connected to at least one of the vehicle interface and the snowplough interface, and comprises at least one wheel located in front of a front axle of the vehicle, to support part of the weight of the plough blade when in the retracted position.
Wing plow post
A wing plow post and method of manufacturing the post is disclosed. The post is intended for attaching a wing plow to vehicle for moving material, such as snow. The links of the post are parallel to the angle of the wing plow when the plow is in the plowing position to minimize stress on the post and frame of the vehicle. The post includes a float collar on the hydraulic lift cylinder to provide free floating of the toe end of the wing plow. It allows a wing plow to move over road surfaces and limit the stress on both the post itself and the frame of the vehicle to which the post is attached. Further, the plow also allows power to be provided by a hydraulic cylinder in the downward direction to the toe end of the wing plow.
SIDE SNOWPLOW INCLUDING LAND LEVELER
A side snowplow including a land leveler, comprising: a rear mounted seat (1), a hydraulic cylinder I (3), a pull rod (4), a snow-pushing board (7), an oscillating rod (10), a hydraulic cylinder II (11), and a front mounted seat (12). The rear mounted seat (1) is fixed on a rear portion of a rear rack of the land leveler and connected to the pull rod (4); the hydraulic cylinder I (3) is hingedly connected to the rear mounted seat (1), and the pull rod (4); and the snow-pushing board (7) is positioned at a left side or a right side of the land leveler and inclines toward a direction that the land leveler moves, a rear end of the snow-pushing board (7) being connected to the hinge plate II (6), a front end of the snow-pushing board (7) being connected to the hinge plate III (8).
Cylinder sequencing for a dual stage lift system for a snow wing
In some implementations a lift assembly for a snow wing assembly may include a first lifting mechanism, coupled to the motor grader, configured to lift the snow wing assembly a first portion of a bench height associated with a moldboard via a first hydraulic cylinder. The lift assembly may include a second lifting mechanism, coupled to the first lifting mechanism and the moldboard, configured to lift the moldboard of the snow wing assembly a second portion of the bench height via a second hydraulic cylinder. The lift assembly may include one or more valves included in a hydraulic circuit of the first hydraulic cylinder and the second hydraulic cylinder, configured to divert a flow of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic circuit away from a first stage hydraulic cylinder and to a second stage hydraulic cylinder, based on a pressure value associated with the first stage hydraulic cylinder.
ADJUSTABLE SNOW PLOW
An adjustable snow plow having a center unit; at least one extender wing; a square channel connected to said center unit; at least one mounting bracket connected to said center unit wherein the at least one extender wing is connected to the center unit via the square channel, and the mounting bracket is selectably attachable to a vehicle.
The adjustable snow plow is able to vary the width of the plow blade so as to accommodate a number of different locations for which snow may need to be removed. The adjustable plow may be a straight blade plow, or a partially straight blade plow that allows for the user of the adjustable plow to dictate in which direction the desired snow is displaced.
