Wave break apparatus
12473702 · 2025-11-18 · ·

A floating wave break apparatus to dissipate wave action in a body of water, the apparatus including three longitudinally extending wall members each with a plurality of through holes therein. The apparatus also includes a plurality of flotation members disposed between the longitudinally extending wall members. The wave break apparatus also includes at least one restraining member above the at least one flotation member for restraining the flotation member against upward translation as well as an anchor system with at least one winch and rope combination. The winches are mounted to the restraining member and the ropes are adjustable to restrain movement of the wave break apparatus.

Breakwater

The breakwater according to the present invention is formed from a body on which the waves hit, and comprising a plurality of surfaces, each of which has a different inclination, said inclinations defining different angles with respect to the horizontal. The angle defined by each surface increases from the front surface to the rear surface, and the length of each surface is different, decreasing from the front surface to the rear surface. It allows to provide a breakwater in which most of the wave energy returns to the sea, so that only a small part is dissipated in the breakwater.

Wave deflector apparatus

A V-shaped wave deflector apparatus for protecting a floating dock or other structure from incoming waves of water created by wind or a watercraft is disclosed herein, in various aspects. The wave deflector has a first beam and a second beam, each having a mounting beam connected thereto, near a first end of the mounting beam. A second end of the mounting beam is attached rotatably to beam clamps which attach to the dock float beneath the floating dock. Wave deflector panels are attached to the first beam and to the second beam and redirect waves to the left and right of the floating dock, thereby reducing wave action against the floating dock. The mounting beams are rotatable, and the wave deflector apparatus may rotate downward beneath the floating dock, allowing access to a boat slip in the floating dock.
