A triangle unit assembly block comprises a body portion comprising mutually facing first and second side surfaces and mutually facing third and fourth side surfaces between a upper surface and a lower surface; a first fastening protrusion formed on the first side surface of the body portion; a second fastening protrusion formed on the second side surface of the body portion; a first fastening groove formed on the third side surface of the body portion; and a second fastening groove formed on the fourth side surface of the body portion, wherein the first and second fastening protrusions are disposed to correspond to each other and protrude in mutually opposite directions, and the first and second fastening grooves are disposed to be misaligned with one another to be concave in mutually facing directions.
CREST ELEMENT FOR A BREAKWATER, ARMOUR LAYER ASSEMBLY FOR A BREAKWATER, BREAKWATER, METHOD OF CRESTING A BREAKWATER, AND METHOD OF PROVIDING AN ARMOUR ON A BREAKWATER
Disclosed is a crest element in an armor layer assembly of a breakwater. The crest element includes: a central part; two wings extending from the central part in opposing directions along, when placed on a breakwater, the length direction of the breakwater; and a nose extending from the central part in a forward direction transverse to the length direction of the breakwater. The backside of the central part is a vertically oriented, back face facing in a backward direction opposite to the forward direction. The crest element may in particular be used as crest element for armor layers including armor elements of the type having a central part from which: two wings extend in opposing directions, and a tail and nose extend in opposing directions transverse to the direction of extension of the wings. Also disclosed is an armor layer, a breakwater and methods using the crest elements.
SYSTEM FOR INCREASING THE HEIGHT OF SEAWALLS
A seawall comprising a base with a top, a plurality of extensions on the top of the base, and an adhesive or sealant securing the extensions to the base. Each extension comprises a plurality of spaced apart rubber poles extending generally in a direction horizontal to the sea floor, and an outer rubber covering surrounding the poles. A method of increasing the height of a seawall comprising the steps of placing a plurality of the extensions on top of the seawall with the poles extending substantially parallel to the sea floor, and securing the extensions to the top of the seawall.

Articulable erosion control mattress, manufacturing system, mattress rolling system, and methods
An articulating mattress of blocks interconnected with tensiles seated therein, said blocks having opposing longitudinal and transverse sides and a top surface each of a smooth surface by contact with a mold surface during casting and a bottom surface having a rough surface by screeding the flowable casting material from an open side of a mold formwork. The mattress inverted with a rolling apparatus for installation with the rough surface in frictional contact on a ground surface for erosion control, said mattress rolling apparatus having base, front wheels, and steerable rear wheels, with a rolling mechanism for rolling the articulating mattress. An apparatus and a method of casting an articulable mattress with a rough bottom surface for erosion control are disclosed.
WATER MANAGEMENT PROTECTIVE MAT DEVICE
A water management protective mat device having a protective mat formed by a plurality of weighted tire members interconnected in a grid structure. Each tire member includes a plurality of apertures for receiving one or more rod members. The one or more rod members interconnect a tire member to another tire member. The protective mat is configured to reduce erosion along a stream bank by reinforcing erosion barriers in terrain underneath the protective mat thereby preventing water from eroded the terrain.
MODULAR BUILDING BLOCK APPARATUS
A modular building block apparatus for the construction of a coastal or river bank erosion defence or protection structure includes a plurality of blocks arranged in stacked rows, the blocks in each row having cooperating formations whereby the blocks in each row are interconnected with one another. Apertures formed in each block extend perpendicular to the rows, and a plurality of connector members extend through aligned apertures in adjacent rows of the blocks to interlock the rows to one another.

Living marine quay wall
Embodiments provide a quay wall attachment and a method for promoting biodiversity in a marine environment. The quay wall attachment includes a quad plate and a module. The quad plate is secured to a portion of a quay wall located underwater. The module includes a coral module, a fish module, a plant module, and combinations of the same. The coral module includes living corals and is secured to the quad plate. The fish module includes a hollow space and is secured to the quad plate. The plant module includes living marine plants and a hollow space, and is secured to the quad plate.
Erosion prevention
An erosion prevention system, a cell assembly and a kit of parts for such a system, and methods of making and installing such an erosion prevention system is disclosed. A cell assembly (2501) may comprise a plurality of cells (2520a, 2520b, 2520c) for containment of rock pieces, each cell having a bottom, sides/ends and a top each formed from wire mesh. A continuous length of wire mesh may wrap around and defines the upper, lower (2502) and end faces (2503a, 2503b) of the cell assembly (2501), the ends of the length being fastened together at an overlapping join positioned on the upper and/or end of the cell assembly. The continuous length of chain-link wire mesh may extend beyond at least one side face (2503d) of the cell assembly, thereby being configured to overlap at least a portion of the lower, upper and end faces of a corresponding second cell assembly when positioned side by side. The wire mesh may be chain-link wire mesh.
