Floating turbidity barrier
A floating turbidity barrier includes a first barrier section and a second barrier section. Velcro is affixed to a portion of the first barrier and to a portion of the second barrier. The Velcro of the first barrier section and the Velcro of the second barrier section are connected together.

Apparatus and methods for collecting debris from a body of water onto a waterborne vessel include at least one wave dampener and/or gate configured to limit inflow from the body of water into at least a first cargo compartment on the vessel to water and debris disposed at or near the surface of the body of water.
SECURITY AND DEBRIS BARRIER
A barrier for protecting a port, waterway, or off-shore structure is provided. The barrier has a front elongated pontoon which extends substantially the length of the barrier. A net assembly, provided either in sections, or as an elongated net, extends vertically upward from the front elongated pontoon and along the length of the front elongated pontoon. The net assembly is affixed to the front elongated pontoon with one or more net support beams. The front elongated pontoon is supported by a rear pontoon support structure, which may be a series of pontoons, each connected to the front elongated pontoon and spaced apart the length of the front elongated pontoon, or an elongated cylindrically shaped rear pontoon which extends substantially the length of the barrier. In some embodiments, a rear net section is attached to the rear pontoon support structure. In another embodiment of the invention, a barrier system for protecting a port, waterway, or off-shore structure is provided. The barrier system comprises two or more contiguous barrier units, one of which is a barrier according to the present invention that form a perimeter to protect the port, waterway, or off-shore structure and can additionally act as a debris barrier. In one embodiment, the barrier system forms a perimeter protecting a port or waterway. In another embodiment, the barrier system protects an off-shore structure.
COMPACTION ROPE STORAGE AND DISBURSEMENT SYSTEM FOR COMPACTABLE CONTAINMENT BOOM
A compactable containment boom with an elongated flotation portion and a weighted skirt has a pull through compaction rope guided internally down the center of the boom. Pulling on an end rope that extends outside the boom compacts the boom longitudinally in an accordion-like fashion. After the boom is compacted, the excess rope is coiled and stored in a pocket on an end of the boom. The pocket is then closed with a releasable and reusable closure to keep the rope inside, and a portion of the rope outside the pocket is tied off to a loop on an end fitting of the boom to keep the rope taut and the boom compacted. The boom alternatively may be compacted by securing the end of the compaction rope to a fixed location, then manually shoving or sliding the boom up the rope into a compacted state.
OIL-BOOM REPAIR AND RECONFIGURATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for repairing and reconfiguring an oil containment boom, using end connectors and attached curtain members in various arrangements to form outer booms, inner booms, extending booms, and transverse booms for added safety and protection and for an enhanced ability to contain, collect, and recover spilled oil contaminates.
Stationary boom support system
A containment boom system for remediating an oil spill in a body of water includes a base support structure and a containment boom. An elongated rod has a proximal end and a spaced apart distal end. The proximal end is hingedly attached to the base support structure and extends laterally therefrom. A buoy is coupled to the distal end of the elongated rod. The buoy has sufficient buoyancy so as to remain floating on the liquid body while supporting the elongated rod. A reclamation loop is disposed in the water, a first portion of which is disposed in the oil spill and a second portion is disposed the water on the opposite side of the containment boom from the oil spill. The reclamation loop is continuously driven through a reclamation station, which removes oil therefrom.
Methods and systems to contain pollution and hazardous environments (CPHE)
A membrane system isolates environment volume, contains hazards, enables detoxification, hazard removal, infrastructure restoration, and substance recovery. The flexible membrane system adjusts to advantageously shape its isolated volume and integrate existing infrastructure. Pollution and hazardous energy, including crude oil, toxic-gas, radioactive fallout, fire, and other hazards are isolated, while concurrently enabling access within the isolated volume. Pod encapsulated and readily deployed, the membrane system operates semi-autonomously, uses selective-filtering, specific gravity and substance differences to channel matter, mitigate hazards, protect the biosphere, preserve infrastructure and capture substances.
Floating oil containment boom
A floating oil containment boom is comprised of boom sections connected end to end. Each boom section is of a tubular member or pipe section. The pipe or tubular member is buoyant, either closed at its ends and/or filled with foam or other buoyant material. Plates extend above and below the tubular member or pipe section for each section of boom. A specially configured connecter joins each boom section to the other, the connecter extending above and below the pipe or tubular member. An elastomeric block forms an interface between connectors on each boom section while simultaneously sealing the area between boom sections to flow of oil.
HDPE MARINE BOOM WITH AXIAL PASSAGE AND CHAIN STOP
A marine boom system includes at least one HDPE marine boom with an axial passage for mounting on a chain and a chain stop. The boom includes a shell defining a cavity with watertight caps having central apertures on the ends. An axial passageway pipe is disposed longitudinally along a center axis, and extends through the apertures and beyond the ends of the shell. A floatation billet is disposed within the shell. A chain is disposed in the axial passageway pipe and extends beyond the ends of the axial passageway pipe. The stop including at least one assembly piece may be fastened to the chain and disposed within an end of the pipe. The assembly piece includes a semi-cylindrical main body with passageway formed therein and has a protrusion about one passageway and a recess about another. A flange and a link saddle extend from the main body.
