A system for removing contaminants from a body of water, may include a vessel, having contaminant cleanup and recovery equipment that may have at least one intake port capable of removing floating contaminants from the body of water to be transported to the recovery vessel. The system may further include a first towboat and a second towboat. The system may also include a first containment boom capable of being connected to the first tow boat and to a starboard side of a vessel. The system may also include a second containment boom capable of being connected to the second tow boat and a port side of the vessel, such that during operation the first and second towboats extend out from the vessel such that the first and second containment booms gather the floating contaminants from the body of water and channel them to the at least one intake port.

ROLLER BRUSH OF WATER SURFACE CLEANING ROBOT
20250092623 · 2025-03-20 · ·

A water surface cleaning robot includes a robot shell provided with a roller brush, two ends of the roller brush being connected with the robot shell, and a storage basket is arranged inside the robot shell. One side of the storage basket is provided with a baffle, a top portion of the storage basket is provided with an opening extending to the baffle, the roller brush is arranged above the baffle, the roller brush includes a plurality of blades, one end of the blade is provided with a hook, and the hook is oriented to one side entering water. Because the blade is provided with the hook, when the blade rotates to enter water, a contact area between the blade and a water surface is reduced, so that a resistance of the water surface to the blade is reduced, and a shoveling force generated by rotation is stronger.

FLOATING DEBRIS SKIMMING DEVICE

A skimming device configured to collect and store floating debris captured from the surface of a body of water. The skimming device includes a debris collector having an enclosed body defining an opening for receiving and storing captured debris therein; a skimming device movement member configured to move the skimming device in the body of water; a debris movement member configured to capture floating debris from the body of water and pass the captured debris into the debris collector; and a housing that surrounds the debris collector and skimming movement member such that the two endless belts of the skimming movement member extend above and below the housing. The debris includes at least one of liquid debris such as floating petrochemicals, semi-solid debris, and/or solid debris.

A system for removing contaminants from a body of water includes a vessel including floating contaminant cleanup and recovery equipment, that includes an intake port capable of removing contaminants from a body of water and transporting same to the vessel. The system may include a conveyor capable of removing contaminants from the body of water and transferring same to the vessel. The system also including lengths of a type of towable contaminant containment booms, connected to each side of the vessel. The system may include equipment having extendable, angularly positionable armatures, or telescopic cranes or tow boats, capable of positioning and maintaining the lengths of contaminant containment booms that are also connected to end portions of same, and extended outward in front of and off to each side of the vessel to gather and channel floating contaminants back to the intake port of the floating contaminant cleanup and recovery equipment.

FLUID DECONTAMINATION ASSEMBLY
20250327259 · 2025-10-23 ·

A fluid decontamination assembly for separating two fluids includes a receiving vessel and a motor with a drive shaft. A drive wheel is coupled to the drive shaft. A follower wheel is aligned with the drive wheel. A belt couples the drive wheel to the follower wheel wherein the belt forms a loop extending between the drive wheel and the follower wheel. An arm extends between the drive wheel and the follower wheel. A pivot assembly pivotably couples the arm to a housing of the motor wherein the arm is pivotable upwardly and downwardly relative to the receiving vessel. The arm extends into a contaminated fluid vessel which holds a first fluid and a second fluid. An elastomeric material of the belt removably adheres to the first fluid to remove of the first fluid from the contaminated fluid vessel.

Environmental barge for filtering oil from water in the spill response to oil pollution at sea
12617498 · 2026-05-05 · ·

Environmental barge with belt skimmer for spill response to oil pollution at sea. The environmental barge consists of an upper part with pontoons and a lower part with a bottom with an integrated hydrophilic filter. The environmental barge is designed so that at least four environmental barges can be stacked inside and on top of each other. Oil-mixed water is guided to the belt skimmer, which carries it up into the environmental barge, where the gravitational principle means that the oil pushes the water through the hydrophilic filter and back into the sea as the barge is filled with oil. The environmental barge can thus be completely filled with oil without increasing the draft. The environmental barge footprint is identical to a standard 20-foot container, and it has container corner castings, allowing significant spill response capacity to be quickly transported and deployed in areas where no other spill response capacity is available. The size of the environmental barge and the constant draft regardless of loading condition mean that the invention is particularly useful in coastal shallow water areas, marshlands and river deltas.
