Displacement pile and pile driver adapter
A bi-directional swing pile adapter includes a first ring; a first support arm; a second support arm; a first swivel connector to operatively connect the first ring to the first support arm in a swivel manner; a second swivel connector to operatively connect the first ring to the second support arm in a swivel manner; a pile coupling member to enable coupling to a pile; a third swivel connector to operatively connect the first ring to the pile coupling member in a swivel manner; and a fourth swivel connector to operatively connect the first ring to the pile coupling member in a swivel manner.
Method and apparatus for making an expanded base pier
A system for constructing a support column includes a mandrel with an upper portion and a tamper head. A feed tube extends through the mandrel for feeding flowable material to the head. The tamper head includes a lower enlarged chamber with a reducing surface at an upper portion and includes a plurality of chain links for compacting material and restricting upward flow of aggregate. The tamper head is of a size providing an enclosed region for allowing cementitious materials to be placed therein. A non-moveable sealed top plate and a separate flowable material supply tube is included via a sealed connection. A pressure gauge for monitoring air pressure within the tube portion is included and allows a support column including a cementitious inclusion on top of an expanded base to be built with a known unitary expanded base volume calculated based on pressure drop indications.

STEEL PIPE PILE WITH SPIRAL BLADES, COMPOSITE PILE, AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF COMPOSITE PILE
There is disclosed a steel pipe pile with spiral blades which is capable of effectively improving comparatively soft ground in which a clay layer and the like are present at deep positions of several ten meters beneath the surface of the ground. A steel pipe pile 1 with spiral blades comprises a steel pipe pile main body 10 and one or more spiral blades 20 attached to the steel pipe pile main body 10, and a diameter D of the spiral blade 20 is set to three times or more as large as a diameter d of the steel pipe pile main body 10.
Apparatus and methods for pipe piling placement with continuous grouting
A pipe assembly may have one or more pipe segments that are coupled together or coupled to a drive socket by a coupler. The bottom-most pipe segment being a bottom pile segment that may have a body with a central axis, an exterior surface an upper end connectable to the pipe pile assembly, and a bottom end, the bottom end inhibiting grout from passing through the bottom end, helical flights extending from the exterior surface of the body substantially perpendicular to the central axis, and grout ports through which the grout is emittable. The bottom pipe segment is designed to receive grout introduced through the pipe assembly so that the grout can be emitted the grout ports during the driving of the pile assembly into soil. The emitted grout forms a grout/soil mixture jacket within the disturbed soil along an exterior of the pipe pile assembly which adds appreciably to the overall stability, and particularly the lateral stability, of the pipe pile column created.
REINFORCEMENT, STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR UNDERGROUND REINFORCED CONCRETE CONSTRUCTIONS
A reinforced concrete structure including a reinforcement made from a plurality of elongate longitudinal members of fibreglass or like material, disposed substantially parallel with one another in at least one predetermined direction. The elongate longitudinal members are coupled to one another by means of coupling members of fibreglass or formed by a strip of flexible polymer material. Metal and/or synthetic fibres are mixed with the concrete matrix to provide the structure with shear strength, making it possible substantially to reduce the number of coupling members.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Permeation Grouting
An apparatus for remediation of soil includes a drum for storing chemical-permeation grout and a pump for pumping the chemical-permeation grout at a low pressure into a manchette delivery tube while the manchette delivery tube is inserted into the soil. There is a valve for controlling the low pressure and a meter for metering an amount of the chemical-permeation grout that is delivered into the soil.

Hybrid foundation structure, and method for building same
The present invention relates to a foundation structure vertically installed on the ground, and comprising: an upper support layer 10 formed on the ground in the vertical direction; and a lower support layer 20 formed so as to extend downward from the upper support layer 10 and such that the width thereof is less than that of the upper support layer 10. The disclosed upper support layer 10 and the lower support layer 20 are structures formed from soil solidified by means of feeding and mixing an earth and soil-solidifying agent therein, and therefore are efficient and prevent overload due to boring equipment.
Grout tube protection system
Grout pipes placed within a fill could be damaged by the fill as it is being placed over the pipe, the pipe needs protection until it is used. In addition, the grouting pipes needs multiple outlets to ensure that the grout flows through the voids in the fill. This patent provides a method similar burrito drainage system where filter cloth is wrapped around a drainpipe encased in gravel. This patent provides a similar design but for the opposite purpose. Where fill is placed loose and grouted after placement is complete the grout tube placed within the fill needs protection until the grouting is complete. This is done by surrounding the grout tube with granular material that will carry the load of the fill above around the pipe to ensure the integrity of the pipe and allow grout to flow out through numerous voids in the granular material.
