Truss foundation adjustment tool
20220056657 · 2022-02-24 ·

A tool for adjusting driven truss components and assembled truss foundations. A bridge separates a pair of collars, each having a pair of offset bearing surfaces that fit around the truss legs. A lever arm terminating in a handle extends away from the bridge to give leverage to the tool operator. The bridge width is adjustable to enable positioning of the tool at different heights along the driven truss components. An additional receiver proximate to one of the collars may enable single leg operation. Lateral and angular adjustment of the lever arm with respect to the bridge may enable greater force to be applied to one leg relative to the other.

A pile includes a shaft; and a soil displacement head or a helical blade with a leading edge and a trailing edge, operatively connected to a first end of the shaft; the shaft having deformations formed thereon to provide a gripping interface between a supporting medium and the shaft.

Cementitious foundation cap with post-tensioned helical anchors and method of making the same
09745712 · 2017-08-29 ·

A post-tensioned concrete cap foundation has helical anchors with pipes having several helical discs welded around the pipe perimeter to spin drill deep into subsurface soils or other soft materials with holes in the pipe for high pressure-grouting in place. The helical anchor pipes include a tensioning element for pulling and post-tensioning the helical anchor. The helical anchors are tension anchors which can be converted to compression anchors. The helical anchors in tension serve to pull the foundation cap down to compress the underlying soil while the compression anchors limit the maximum settlement of the concrete foundation cap. The foundation also includes perimeter-forming and interior corrugated metal pipes with upper and lower sleeved horizontally extending radial bolts that are secured to the pipes and post-tensioned to provide lateral foundation compression.

Rotary auger support stand
09739025 · 2017-08-22 · ·

A rotary auger support stand for mounting and removably holding a articles or devices upright on the ground. The stand includes an upright rod with a helical coil or flights forming an auger base having a point at the lower distal end to be fixedly and removably screwed into the ground to support the stand in an upright position. The top end of the rod forming the stand body defines an S-shaped loop configured, sized and shaped and disposed at a selected angle to support an article thereon. The top adapter is capable of supporting a decorative element, sign, target, or other element. An S-shaped handle is formed integrally within the support shaft longitudinal member extending from the auger.

Landscape Edging Stake and Method

A landscape edging stake includes a driving end, a penetration end and an edging engagement portion positioned between the driving end and the penetration end. The edging engagement portion includes a rib configured to engage an inner wall of an anchoring bore of an edging link. A ground engagement portion is positioned between the edging engagement portion and the penetration end and includes a helical groove or thread.

Anchoring and stabilizing device for manufactured homes

An augerable ground anchor having: a) a shaft having a first end and a distal second end; b) an augering means affixed about said shaft adjacent to said first end; c) a ground contact plate affixed to said shaft proximate to said second end; d) a first anchor means affixed to said contact plate for securing a manufactured home sidewall strap to said ground anchor, said first anchor means being centrally positioned and having a first longitudinal axis and; e) a second anchor means for securing a stabilizing strut to said ground anchor, the second anchoring means being affixed to the contact plate outboard from the first anchor means and having a second longitudinal axis, wherein the first and second longitudinal axis are at a first acute angle Ø. An anchoring and stabilizing assembly is further described that further includes a stabilizing plate adjacent to and in contact with the shaft.

Tieback assembly with removable tendon threaded element
09725866 · 2017-08-08 · ·

In one aspect, a tieback assembly is provided herein for supporting a SOE, the tieback assembly including: at least one anchor; an anchor threaded element extending from an end of the anchor; a tendon for transmitting force between the anchor and the SOE, the tendon including at least one tendon threaded element; and, a coupler having a body with a threaded bore, the tendon threaded element and the anchor threaded element threadedly engaging the threaded bore. Furthermore, the tendon is provided with sufficient length to extend at least from the coupler to externally of the SOE so that a portion of the tendon may be engaged externally of the SOE to allow for disengagement of the tendon threaded element from the coupler. Advantageously, the subject invention allows for at least partial removal of the tendon from a tieback assembly, including removal of the tendon threaded element.

SECURING DEVICE

A securing device (10) for securing an article is disclosed. The securing device comprises a main shaft portion (14) and a securing portion (20) on the main shaft portion. The securing portion is a substantially helical elongate portion defining a central space (20A). Holding devices (312, 340), drive transmission devices (102, 202) and indicating devices (332) can be used with the securing device.

CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR RECYCLABLE ANCHOR ROD

A construction method for a recyclable anchor rod. The recyclable anchor rod includes a reinforcing steel bar body and an unlocking device. The unlocking device includes a housing, a fixed panel, a top limiter, lifting screw limiters, a lifting screw, transmission gears, gear clamping arms, a thread limiter, and a pressure bearing plate. The construction method includes: 1, positioning; 2, drilling; 3, anchoring; 4, performing primary grouting; 5, performing secondary grouting; 6, tensioning and locking; and 7, recycling the reinforcing steel bar body. Shock-absorbing pressure-bearing devices are arranged between the lower end of the housing and the pressure bearing plate. The present disclosure effectively solves the problems that a conventional anchor rod hinders the construction of an adjacent underground structure and pollutes underground environment, and the problems that the existing recyclable anchor rod unlocking device is unstable, does not have earthquake resistance, and cannot realize 100% recovery of rod bodies.

ROTARY GROUND AUGER BASE AND FEEDER STAND
20170251792 · 2017-09-07 ·

A feeder stand including a rotary ground auger and base holds a feeder above the ground. An upright elongated rod defines a stand supported by an auger having helical coils removably screwed into the ground. A platform such as a round disc, or wire mesh platform is supported on the top distal end of the rod. At least two opposing legs extend perpendicular to the vertical elongated rod and auger forming a base. The distal end of selected opposing legs are bent or angled upward perpendicular from the ground forming handles for rotating the auger into the ground. The portion of the legs extending outward normal to the elongated support pole provides a base bearing against the ground for increased lateral support.
