SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR INSTALLING BASKETBALL GOALS
20210236908 · 2021-08-05 · ·

A system and process for installing in-ground base and basketball systems allows the systems to be installed without needing to wait for concrete to cure. During installation, concrete is poured and anchor bolts are positioned in the wet concrete, a brace is placed over the upper face of the concrete base and the protruding anchor bolt ends. The brace includes a plurality of outwardly extending lateral legs. The legs extend horizontally beyond the edges of the concrete base and into/over the adjacent ground. A stake is placed through each leg. The basketball goal system is then mounted to the anchor bolts and brace. The brace assists in holding the basketball goal system in the correct position while the concrete cures.

DRILL BITS FOR DRILLING WHILE DRIVING FOUNDATION COMPONENTS

Drill bits are provided for a drilling while driving machine. In some cases, the drill bit is a multi-stage bit capable of selectively cutting at two different diameters. In others, the bit is an expanding bit that can be passed through a foundation component while its being driven. The bit has a pair of cutting wings that can move between a retracted orientation where the bit's diameter is narrower than the inner diameter of the driven component, to a splayed orientation where the diameter is equal to or larger than the driven component's outside diameter.

VEHICLE FOR INSTALLING ANCHORS IN AN UNDERWATER SUBSTRATE
20210229782 · 2021-07-29 ·

A method of installing one or more anchors in an underwater substrate in a body of water including installing an anchor into the underwater substrate by rotating an anchor installation vehicle about a central axis Y to drive the anchor coupled to the anchor installation vehicle into the underwater substrate. The anchor installation vehicle includes a vehicle frame having a top end and bottom end, a plurality of arms extending outward from the vehicle frame, one or more rotational thrusters disposed at distal ends of the respective arms, and an anchor system that holds the anchor extending from the bottom end of the vehicle frame with the anchor aligned with a central axis Y.

FIXED-TILT SOLAR ARRAYS AND RELATED SYSTEMS
20210257962 · 2021-08-19 ·

Fixed-tilt solar arrays constructed from screw anchors. In some cases, purlins are attached directly to truss legs. In others, they are attached to truss caps joining the free end of each truss leg. In still further ones, screw anchors are driven in rows and interconnected by a pair of hinged members, one of which provides a mounting plane for solar panels. Each screw anchor may serve as a connection point for the trailing hinged member of the first foundation and the leading hinged member of the next foundation. In still further cases, a hinged truss cap may be used to accommodate different tilt angles with the same foundation.

THREADED TRUSS FOUNDATIONS AND RELATED SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MACHINES

A machine for rotary driving screw anchors into underlying ground and related. The machine has a mast with a rotary driver and a mandrel driver oriented on a common axis. The mandrel driver passes a mandrel through the rotary driver and the screw anchor to allow the mandrel to be actuated ahead of the screw anchor while the rotary driver drives the screw anchor into the ground. Alternatively, the mandrel driver may also drive a hammering drill through the screw anchor to clear a path ahead of it through subsurface rocks.

Anchor Bolt Setter Mechanism Assembly

An Anchor Bolt Setting (ABS) system has a bolt cap adapted to securely hold an anchor bolt vertically by an upper threaded end, with the anchor bolt suspended below the bolt cap, and an adapter having a first interface shaped to engage an edge of a foundation form for concrete, a substantially planar portion extending over the foundation form from the edge, and a second interface in the planar portion shaped to engage and suspend the bolt cap, with the anchor bolt suspended downward. The anchor bolt is threaded into the bolt cap, the adapter is engaged to the edge of the foundation form extending horizontally over the foundation form, the bolt cap with the anchor bolt engaged is engaged to the second interface of the adapter, presenting the anchor bolt downward into the foundation form, and uncured concrete is poured into the foundation form, enveloping the anchor bolt.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING A STRUCTURE UPON COMPRESSIBLE SOIL

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system for reinforcing compressible soil strata. The system comprises at least one helical rigid-inclusion comprising a elongate body, a top member secured to one end of the elongate body, and at least one lower helically-formed member secured to the end of the elongate body opposite to the top member, and a load transfer platform configured to transfer at least a portion of a load from an overlying surface to the helical rigid-inclusion. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to methods of installing the system for reinforcing compressible soil.

INTERLOCKING STABILIZATION SYSTEM FOR STABILIZING SLOPE, UNRESTRAINED EARTH OR THE LIKE
20210164186 · 2021-06-03 ·

The present invention aims to provide an interlocking stabilization system (100) for stabilizing slope, unrestrained earth or the like. Accordingly, the interlocking stabilization system (100) includes: a) a compressed bearing plate (110); b) at least one earth anchor (150) having a plurality of extendable pivotally hinged wings (152) penetrated to a predetermined depth and in communication with the compressed bearing plate (110) through a tendon bar/wire (160); wherein the compressed bearing plate (110) is adapted to be compressed and advanced toward the at least one earth anchor (150) through the tendon bar/wire (160), such that a reflective frustum cone or compact soil reaction (112) is formed thereof; wherein the plurality of extendable pivotally hinged wings (152) of the at least one earth anchor (150) is able to extend outwardly to an angle as the earth anchor (150) is progressively withdrawn under the compression, such that a frustum cone or end bearing force (154) is formed thereof; and wherein action-reaction forces (reflective frustum and end bearing force) defined between the compressed bearing plate (110) and progressively with-drawn of the at least one earth anchor (150) through the tendon bar/wire (160) are able to eliminate or overcome the active and passive zone pressures existed in the slope, unrestrained earth or the like.
