System and method of monitoring a utility structure
A system for monitoring a structures containing utility components is provided. The system includes a sensing devices, each being disposed within a structure and distributed within a geographic region, each of the sensing devices measuring parameters within the structure. A display is coupled to the sensing devices and is positioned remotely therefrom. One or more processors communicate with the sensing devices and the display. Wherein the processors perform a method comprising: receiving the measured parameters; comparing the measured parameters to thresholds; displaying on the display device elements, each device element representing one of the sensing devices, each of the device elements being geometrically arranged on the geographic distribution of the sensing devices; displaying on the display a plurality of elements, each associated with one of the device elements; and changing at least one of the elements when a measured parameter crossing one of the thresholds.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A THERMOSET POLYMER UTILITY VAULT LID
A method of manufacturing a fiber reinforced composite material lid for an utility vault including mixing an unsaturated polyester thermosetting matrix in to a resin paste, compounding the resin paste into a fiber reinforced composite material, maturing the compounded fiber reinforced composite material, cutting the matured compound into a charge pattern, molding the charge pattern in a mold cavity of a heated mold under low pressure to form the lid and cooling and machining the lid. The mold includes a cavity die and a core die having a shear angle for interfacing the core die within the cavity die and a steam pot for heating the cavity die and the core die, wherein the lid is molded between the cavity die and the core die and removed from the mold by a lid ejection mechanism.

Composite Manhole Cover with In-molded Components
A manhole cover is made of composite material with in-molded or encapsulated electronic and/or mechanical components. In some embodiments, the electronic components include a radio frequency identification device (RFID). In some embodiments, the electronic components includes sensors. In some embodiments, the electronic and/or mechanical components include switches, locks, and/or indicators.
Assembly of buffers, roadway device and corresponding usage
An assembly of covers for a roadway device has a first cover having a first linking side and a first plate-that extends along a first plane of a plate and which includes an upper surface, and second cover having a second linking side that is adjacent to the first linking side and a second plate that extends along a second plane of a plate and which includes an upper surface, wherein the assembly of the covers includes the linking part that connect the first cover to the second cover along the first and second linking sides; wherein the linking part include the hinge that define an axis of a hinging between the first cover and the second cover along the first and second linking sides. The assembly of covers is applicable to access manholes for accessing telecommunications installations or facilities.
In-ground blind
A portable pit-type hunting blind of thermoplastic exterior which can be carried and placed into a dug hole, providing a securable preserved cavity of variable depth, and rotatable seat proximate to the earth's surface.
Inflow dish
A two piece inflow dish assembly for installation in an enlarged manhole opening to prevent debris from entering the manhole to clog the sewer system and to permit the inflow dish assembly to be removed from the manhole in separate pieces.
UNDERGROUND UTILITY ENCLOSURE SYSTEM AND METHOD
An underground utility enclosure system and method for installation over a junction point for underground utility conduit, cables, wires, and pipes, providing lighter less-expensive shatterproof enclosures, which can be more quickly manufactured and transported, more easily stored and handled on-site, and more easily installed with less heavy equipment and fewer personnel. A corrugated enclosure body made of a shatterproof polymer material has annular correlation, and allows for slight deformation to accommodate underground obstacles and allows on-site cutting and modification with available hand tools to adapt to different installation needs, allowing the purchase and storage of a smaller number of different sizes and configurations of enclosures to address a greater number of installation circumstances. At least three anchor loops provide for efficient handing and installation. A fitted lid available in various materials provides appropriate strength at an appropriate cost for different installation needs. The underground utility enclosure can optionally be provided as a kit.
Dish for use in a manhole
A dish for use in a manhole having a manhole cover covering a manhole opening and a frequency transmitting system for use in a manhole are provided. The dish and the frequency transmitting system is configured to transmit a signal to a network through the manhole cover. The signal is generated by a sensor unit disposed within the manhole and configured to detect the conditions of the manhole.
