HYPOCHLOROUS ACID SOLUTIONS AND METHODS OF USE
Solutions comprising hypochlorous acid and methods of use are disclosed herein. The disclosed solutions are antiviral and antibacterial. The disclosed solutions may be used to treat and/or prevent a disease state or condition associated with or characterized by acute viral respiratory diseases, such as those caused by coronaviruses. The solutions may be administered by a nebulizer or a metered dose inhaler. The disclosed solutions may also be used to decontaminate surfaces. For example, the disclosed solutions may be used to decontaminate the surfaces of personal protective equipment, such as N95 face mask.
METHOD FOR REMOVING ORGANIC POLLUTANTS FROM WATER BODIES BY ACTIVATING PERSULFATE WITH NUTRIENT-ENHANCED SOYBEAN SPROUT-BASED BIOCHAR
A method for removing organic pollutants from water bodies by activating persulfate with nutrient-enhanced soybean sprout-based biochar involves a method for removing organic pollutants from water bodies by activating persulfate with biochar. The invention is intended to solve the technical problems that existing biochar materials show poor catalytic activity when used for activating persulfate and requires the addition of a large amount of modifiers, which easily leads to secondary pollution to the environment, and the existing biochar materials are susceptible to interference from halogen ions, oxoanions, and natural organic matters in a persulfate system. The raw material of a catalyst used in the invention is soybean, and has an activation process mainly based on non-radical activation, exhibiting high reaction rate and saving persulfate. With the addition of 0.2 g/L catalyst and 0.5 mM potassium persulfate, the degradation efficiency against 10 mg/L phenol can reach 100% within 10 min.
DISINFECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING POLYMER COMPOSITIONS THAT FORM CHLORINE DIOXIDE GAS
Disclosed methods and systems for providing safe, conveniently onsite, quick and effective ways to deliver antimicrobial and antiviral treatment to objects, which include personal protective equipment such as medical N95 type masks and other medical tools and devices, as well as other objects such as cosmetics, toys, kitchen wares, electronics and myriad of others. Chlorine dioxide gas autoclaves, room and car decontaminants and deodorizers, air filters and pest control devices are also disclosed.
System and method for cleaning and sanitizing foodstuff tanks
A system and method for cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing a container is disclosed. The system has a sanitizing agent chamber for storing a sanitizing agent, the one or more solution chambers in fluid communication with the container, a pump in fluid commination with the sanitizing agent, wherein the pump is in communication with a gas, and at least one spray nozzle fluidly connected to the at least one solution chamber via a conduit positioned within the container, wherein the spray nozzle comprises a housing inside which the sanitizing agent is mixed at pressure with the gas to disperse the sanitizing agent and gas mixture into the container for sanitizing the container.
Chlorine dioxide generation device and chlorine dioxide generation system
Provided is a chlorine dioxide generation device, suitable for long-term storage, discharging a chlorine dioxide-generating mixture that remains at an object of interest when used to thereby stably exhibit the effect of chlorine dioxide. A chlorine dioxide generation device, comprising: a first container containing a first composition comprising a chlorite and fumed silica; a second container containing a second composition comprising an acidic substance and fumed silica; an outer container housing the first container and the second container; a mixing section that mixes the first composition released from the first container and the second composition released from the second container to produce a mixed composition; and a discharging section that discharges the mixed composition produced by mixing in the mixing section.
GAS PURIFYING AND PROCESSING METHOD FOR EXERCISE ENVIRONMENT
A gas purifying and processing method for exercise environment is provided and includes steps: (a) providing a purification device for exercise environment in an exercise environment, wherein the purification device for exercise environment includes a main body, a purification unit, a gas guider and a gas detection module; (b) detecting a particle concentration of the suspended particles contained in the purified gas in real time by the gas detection module; and (c) detecting, issuing an alarm and/or notification, and notifying an exerciser to stop exercising, and feeding back to the purification device to adjust an airflow rate of the gas guider by the gas detection module, wherein the gas guider discharge a gas at the airflow rate within 3 minutes to reduce the particle concentration of the suspended particles to less than 0.75 μg/m.sup.3, wherein the airflow rate is at least 800 ft.sup.3/min, and the main body maintains a breathing distance ranged from 60 cm to 200 cm.
REUSABLE HYDROPHILIC URINARY CATHETER ASSEMBLY
