MILLING ATTACHMENT WITH ADJUSTABLE COVER
A milling attachment for a work machine includes a frame including first and second frame side walls and a frame top. The frame top includes a movable front cover portion. A first adjustable side plate has a first ground engaging portion for engaging the ground surface. A first actuator is operably associated with the first adjustable side plate for raising and lowering the first adjustable side plate relative to the first frame side wall. A first actuator extension connects the first actuator to the movable front cover portion, the first actuator extension being configured such that the movable front cover portion is moved relative to the frame when the first adjustable side plate is raised or lowered relative to the frame.
Pivotally flexible mounting interface for a rotatable shaft
A pivotally flexible motor mount for a rotary trenching tool allows for increased life of the overall system. A flexible motor mount includes a universal pivot arrangement that allows a motor housing to universally pivot relative to a boom to accommodate misalignment between a motor shaft axis and a rock wheel rotation axis. The flexible motor mount also includes a first pair of spherical connection joints aligned along a first pivot axis and a second pair of spherical connection joints aligned along a second pivot axis. The first and second pivot axes are generally perpendicular relative to one another. The flexible motor mount further includes a component mounting plate attached to the motor housing and an intermediate plate coupled to the component mounting plate by the first pair of spherical connection joints. The intermediate plate is also coupled to the boom by the second pair of spherical connection joints.
Trenching system with hydraulically adjustable hub
A system for uncovering a trench. The system comprises several subsystems, including a work machine and a frame for providing a seal with the surface to be trenched with a saw blade contained therein. The blade is supported on a hub which is slidably movable relative to the frame by operation of a linear actuator, which may be a hydraulic cylinder or the like. The vertical location of the blade within the frame is continuously adjustable to create a deeper or shallower trench. A monitoring system is provided to monitor the vertical location from an operator station.
MOTOR VEHICLE FOR PRODUCING TRENCHES IN THE GROUND
A vehicle for producing trenches in the ground is provided. The vehicle generally includes a chassis having a motor unit, a controllable digging device mounted on the chassis to dig a trench, and a controllable suctioning and collecting device configured to suction and collect rubble produced during the digging of the trench. The vehicle may include a driver station for the movement on the ground of the vehicle during a transfer phase, and a portable and remote control unit configured to enable an operator to remotely control the digging device, the suctioning and collecting device, and the advancing of the vehicle during digging in the course of a working phase.
Trenching system
A system for uncovering and sealing a narrow trench. The system comprises several subsystems, including a work machine, a frame for providing a seal with the surface to be trenched, a saw blade, a vacuum system, a system for placing product, and a resealer. The blade includes rotatable tooth bits, which may be rotated and secured to create a blade for narrower or a wider trench. A removable cover and the blade are easily changeable. A surface engaging member on the frame is manipulated to maintain a seal with changing ground surfaces. Additionally, the vertical location of the blade within the frame is adjustable to create a deeper or shallower trench.
Automotive construction machine and method for displaying the surroundings of an automotive construction machine
The invention relates to an automotive construction machine with a transport device extending in the working direction beyond the machine frame, in particular a road milling machine or surface miner. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for displaying an image of the surroundings of an automotive construction machine. The construction machine according to the invention has an image display device for displaying a bird's eye view image of the surroundings of the construction machine, which image display device has a camera system with a plurality of cameras for recording individual overlapping image regions of the construction machine surroundings from different image recording positions, and an image processing system. The image processing system is configured in such a way that image details of the individual image regions are joined together to form a total image from a bird's eye view. The camera system has at least one camera which is arranged on the transport device in such a way that the viewing direction of the camera is directed in the direction of the machine frame, and at least one further camera which is arranged on the machine frame in such a way that the viewing direction of the camera is directed away from the machine frame. Using the cameras directed into and away from the machine frame, the machine operator obtains a complete surround view, which includes the region covered by the transport device in the working direction in front of the construction machine.
MICROTRENCHER HAVING A UTILITY AVOIDANCE SAFETY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MICROTRENCHING
Provided is a microtrencher having a utility avoidance system that detects objects buried under the roadway, identifies whether the buried object is a utility and determines whether the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel. If the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel, an alert is sent to the operator, the vehicle is stopped, and/or the cutting wheel is raised in relation to the roadway.
Excavating equipment for excavating surfaces
Equipment for excavating and/or digging trenches in solid surfaces the equipment including a digging wheel rotationally fixed to a main frame, and an adjustment frame defining at least one substantially flat contact portion adapted to be placed in contact with a corresponding portion of the surface to be worked, where the position of the adjustment frame with respect to the main supporting frame can be adjusted so as to adjust the working depth of the digging wheel; and where the adjustment frame is rotationally disengaged from the main supporting frame so that the adjustment frame always rests on the surface to be worked irrespective of particular working conditions.
Excavating equipment for excavating surfaces, in particular solid surfaces, and operating machine equipped with said excavating equipment
Equipment (10) for excavating solid surfaces S such as for example made of asphalt or cement or similar solid material, in particular for obtaining or excavating trenches in said solid surfaces, said equipment (10) comprising working or excavating means (16) rotatably supported by a main frame (11), and a setting frame (30) which defines at least one contact portion (33) substantially flat and adapted to be put into contact with a corresponding portion of the surface S to be worked on, wherein the position of said setting frame (30) with respect to said main supporting frame (11) may be set so as to set the working depth K of said working means (16); wherein the said setting frame (30) is rotatably not constrained to said main supporting frame (11) in such a way that the setting frame, regardless of the particular working conditions, always perfectly lies on the surface to be worked on S.
