EXCAVATING EQUIPMENT FOR EXCAVATING SURFACES, IN PARTICULAR SOLID SURFACES, AND OPERATING MACHINE EQUIPPED WITH SAID EXCAVATING EQUIPMENT
Equipment (10) for excavating solid surfaces S such as for example made of asphalt or cement or similar solid material, in particular for obtaining or excavating trenches in said solid surfaces, said equipment (10) comprising working or excavating means (16) rotatably supported by a main frame (11), and a setting frame (30) which defines at least one contact portion (33) substantially flat and adapted to be put into contact with a corresponding portion of the surface S to be worked on, wherein the position of said setting frame (30) with respect to said main supporting frame (11) may be set so as to set the working depth K of said working means (16); wherein the said setting frame (30) is rotatably not constrained to said main supporting frame (11) in such a way that the setting frame, regardless of the particular working conditions, always perfectly lies on the surface to be worked on S.
Trenching system with hydraulically adjustable hub
A system for uncovering a trench. The system comprises several subsystems, including a work machine and a frame for providing a seal with the surface to be trenched with a saw blade contained therein. The blade is supported on a hub which is slidably movable relative to the frame by operation of a linear actuator, which may be a hydraulic cylinder or the like. The vertical location of the blade within the frame is continuously adjustable to create a deeper or shallower trench. A monitoring system is provided to monitor the vertical location from an operator station.
Road working machine with egress lighting system
A road working machine includes an operator's station that is adapted to be occupied by an operator of the road working machine. The road working machine also includes a controller and a safety light circuit that is operatively attached to the controller. The safety light circuit includes a plurality of downwardly directed safety lights that are located so as to provide lighted egress from the operator's station.
FOUNDATION ENGINEERING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TRENCH IN THE GROUND
The invention relates to a foundation engineering machine and a method for producing a trench in the ground with a foundation engineering machine having a substantially vertical mast, a diaphragm wall apparatus which is displaceably supported in the longitudinal direction of the mast for producing a trench in the ground, and a bar-shaped holding means, at the lower end of which the diaphragm wall apparatus is mounted and with which the diaphragm wall apparatus is linearly displaceable along the mast. According to the invention provision is made in that on the mast an upper first clamping sledge with a first clamping means for releasably clamping the bar-shaped holding means and a lower second clamping sledge with a second clamping means for releasably clamping the bar-shaped holding means are movably supported and the first clamping sledge and the second clamping sledge are movable relative to each other and in that the lower second clamping sledge is provided with a connecting means for mounting an additional lifting device which is arranged on the ground and with which a force can be applied in the longitudinal direction onto the second sledge.
Laying Machine and a Blade Assembly
The present invention relates to a laying machine for laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire including: a blade arrangement for making a trench in the ground, a consolidation and laying means being arranged behind the blade arrangement, for clearing and safe-guarding the trench from collapsing while laying at least one flexible casing or tube, cable or wire into the trench. A blade assembly comprising compartments for cooling fluid and air.
ROADWAY ACCESS HOLE CUTTER HAVING A UTILITY AVOIDANCE SAFETY DEVICE, METHOD OF CUTTING A HOLE IN A ROADWAY, METHOD OF CUTTING A HORIZONTAL HOLE UNDER A ROADWAY
A method of cutting a microtrench in which the buried utility is exposed by opening an access hole in a roadway above the buried utility using a roadway access hole drill that is controlled by a computer system connected to an under-roadway detection unit that detects a buried utility and stops movement of the drill to avoid damaging the buried utility. Also provided is a method of drilling a substantially horizontal hole under a roadway using a horizontal drill that is controlled by a computer system connected to an under-roadway detection unit that detects a buried utility and stops movement or changes direction of the drill to avoid damaging the buried utility.
Apparatus and Method for Installing Subsurface Tubing
An apparatus for installing multiple strands of hose below a surface of terrain is provided. The apparatus comprises a chassis and rotating trenching blade assemblies connected to the chassis. The trenching blade assemblies are configured to dig parallel trenches when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain. Curved hose guides are connected to the chassis in trailing positions behind the trenching blades. Each hose guide receives hose from a hose reel on reel mounts connected to the chassis and deposits the hose into a trench dug by a trenching blade assembly. Trench fillers connected to the chassis trail the hose guides. Each trench filler is aligned with a respective hose guide and comprises a number of blades configured to push soil excavated from a trench back into the trench when the apparatus is pulled along the terrain.
A ROTABLE BUCKET WHEEL ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD FOR REFURBISHING AN ASSOCIATED BUCKET WHEEL RECLAIMER
A bucket wheel assembly (40) includes a structural frame (42) that in use forms a structural part of the boom of a bucket wheel reclaimer. The structural frame (42) supports a bucket wheel (44) having a plurality of attached buckets (46); a ring chute (48) and an associated discharge chute (50). The bucket wheel (44) is attached to the middle of shaft (51), which is supported by two bearings (52). The drive unit is attached to the shaft (51) to provide the rotation torque, and the drive unit is also attached to the structure (42). The structural frame (42) couples to a portion of the boom and transfers the assembly load to the boom when the reclaimer is in operation.
