SHOVEL HANDLE WITH BAIL OVER DIPPER FEATURE
A mining machine includes a frame, a boom coupled to the frame, a handle coupled to the frame and a dipper coupled to the handle. The handle includes an extension, and a bail is coupled directly to the extension, such that the bail is isolated from the dipper.
WEAR PAD ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING
The present invention pertains to a wear pad assembly for adjusting a position of a wear pad in a telescopic boom of a work machine, comprising a threaded boss, a threaded bolt configured for threaded engagement with the threaded boss and a wear pad connectable to the threaded bolt. The wear pad assembly further comprises locking means configured to lock the threaded boss and the threaded bolt in a first engagement position and at least a further engagement position. The present invention further pertains to a method of adjusting such a wear pad assembly, the wear pad assembly being mounted to a first telescopic boom segment such that the wear pad provides a sliding surface for a second telescopic boom segment, the method comprising the steps of unlocking the threaded bolt by disassembling at least a part of the locking means, rotating the threaded bolt from the first engagement position into the further engagement position, and locking the threaded bolt in the further engagement position by reassembling the disassembled locking means when the threaded bolt is in the further engagement position.
DEVICE TO COUPLE MEMBERS OF A HEAVY-DUTY MACHINE
A coupler system to facilitate carrying or operating a working tool is provided. For example, a boom frame is rotated about a master pin location to mate with a stick frame at a picker end and coupled to the stick frame with a latching or locking mechanism. The boom frame is further rotated about the master pin location to mate with the stick frame at a grabber end opposite the picker end coupled to the stick frame with an additional latching or locking mechanism. Static stresses are then pre-loaded onto a pulling mechanism which secures the boom frame to the stick frame to prevent failure and dynamic stresses are dispersed onto a compression mechanism to mitigate fatigue. Hydraulic fluid is passed between the boom frame and the stick frame to maintain cleanliness in a hydraulic valve environment while coupling the stick frame to the boom frame.

AUTOMATIC TILT CONTROL
An industrial machine and methods for providing automatic tilt control for the same. One method includes determining a current tooth vector of a tooth included on a bucket of the industrial machine and a current path vector of the tooth and determining a current digging angle between the current tooth vector and the current path vector. The method also includes determining a delta angle based on the current digging angle and a target angle and automatically adjusting a tilt of the bucket based on the delta angle.
Hybrid Construction Machinery
Provided is hybrid construction machine that can charge/discharge an electrical storage device appropriately and can suppress stop of an engine accompanying sharp increase of a load. The present invention includes a hybrid controller 22 that controls power of a hydraulic pump 17 and electric power of an inverter 15 in response to storage battery characteristics of the electrical storage device 16, and an output command unit 22F of the hybrid controller 22 is configured to control at least either one of the power of the hydraulic pump 17 and the electric power of the inverter 15 on the basis of at least either one of electric current or voltage of the storage battery characteristics and at least either one of temperature or a state of charge of the storage battery characteristics.

ROPE SHOVEL WITH NON-LINEAR DIGGING ASSEMBLY
A mining machine includes a frame, a boom, an elongated member supported by a pivot element for movement relative to the boom, and a digging attachment. The boom includes a first end coupled to the frame and a second end opposite the first end. The pivot element is positioned between the first end and the second end of the boom. The hoist rope includes a portion extending over the second end of the boom. The member includes a first end, a second end, a first portion proximate the first end of the member, and a second portion positioned between the first portion and the second end of the member. At least a portion of the second portion is oriented at an angle relative to the first portion. The digging attachment is coupled to the second end of the member and is supported by the hoist rope.
Drive mechanism for mining attachment
A rope shovel has a boom and a hoist rope. The boom has a first end and a second end. The hoist rope extends over the second end of the boom. A digging assembly for the rope shovel includes a shaft, an elongated member supported for movement relative to the boom, an attachment, and a drive link. The shaft is positioned between the first end and the second end of the boom and transverse to the boom, and the shaft includes at least one pinion gear. The elongated member includes a first end and a second end. The attachment is coupled to the first end of the elongated member and is configured to be coupled to the hoist rope. The drive link includes a rack engaging the pinion gear of the transverse shaft such that rotation of the pinion gear moves the drive link and actuates the attachment.
Mining shovel with bushings at pin locations
A cartridge includes a body, an aperture extending through the body sized to receive a pivot pin, and a spherical bushing disposed within the body. The cartridge also includes a first internal seal disposed axially on one side of the bushing and a second internal seal disposed axially on an opposite side of the bushing. The cartridge also includes an end cap disposed at least partially within the aperture that abuts the bushing and prevents the bushing from moving axially in a first direction within the aperture.
