Excavator mounted head and assembly for supporting and angularly adjusting a clamshell style bucket assembly during such as a dredging operation
A tilt adjustable head attachment assembly for a clamshell style bucket for orienting first and second bucket halves at an angle relative to a length axis extending through an elongated and rigid attachment associated with a piece of power equipment, for supporting and manipulating the bucket. A frame has a three dimensional body, upwardly extending pillar mounts located at upper ends of the body and incorporating support shafts for receiving overlapping hinged locations associated with support arms for each of the first and second clamshell bucket halves. A platen is positioned pivotally arranged between the pillar mounts and includes an upper location engaged by an end projection of the elongated attachment. A cylinder is connected to a fixed underside location of the frame at a first end and to the platen at a second end and, upon being actuated, pivotally displacing the platen to in turn angle the frame and supported clamshell bucket halves relative to the excavator attachment according to a desired orientation.
Implement quick connect system
A system for connecting an implement to a machine. A universal adapter to connect implements with machines. A frame with brackets on one side to couple to lift arms and tilt operators on a machine such as an earthmoving vehicle. Brackets on the other side of the frame to detachably couple to the implement. A locking mechanism on the frame with operative handles to engage locking pins on the adapter with the implement between a release and locked position.
ARRANGEMENT FOR TILTING OR TURNING A WORKING INSTRUMENT
The disclosed embodiments relates an arrangement for tilting or turning a tool, the arrangement including at least one actuator for tilting and turning the tool, the actuator including at least a frame part adapted to be closed by a cover, the frame part and the cover enclosing a chamber portion (8) where a blade part having one or more blade gaskets is provided to divide the chamber portion into separate chamber spaces, the blade part being connected, at its first end, to a shaft, the second end of the blade part being adapted move reciprocally in the chamber portion, rotating the shaft at the same time. The joint between the frame part and the cover is sealed by a gasket contacting the blade gaskets.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSEMBLING A HAMMER TOOL
Systems and methods can include stretching a stud of a hammer assembly by tightening, according to a preset amount, a plurality of fasteners, which can extend from a first end surface and/or a second end surface of a first nut threadedly coupled to the stud, against an upper surface of a body of the hammer assembly. The fasteners and the first nut can provide a clamping load for the stud upon completion of the tightening. The systems and methods can also include, after the stretching, tightening a second nut, which can be threadedly connected to the stud, toward a seat formed in the body of the hammer assembly; and further tightening the second nut, against the seat. The systems and methods can further include transferring the clamping load from the fasteners and first nut to the second nut.
WORK TOOL MOUNTING MECHANISM
A working tool mounting mechanism for a tractor, includes: an extensible cylinder that is disposed on a tip of a boom of a front loader of the tractor, and comprises a cylinder body and a rod slidable with respect to the cylinder body; engaging parts that are respectively disposed on the cylinder body and the rod, and are each movable between an engagement position and a release position with extension and contraction of the extensible cylinder, the engaging parts each engaging with a working tool detachably attached to the boom at the engagement position, and not engaging with the working tool at the release position; a cover that covers the extensible cylinder from one direction; and a frame that is fixed to the cover and restricts at least one of: movement of the cylinder body and the rod in an extensible direction exceeding a predetermined position with the extension and contraction of the extensible cylinder, and rotation of the extensible cylinder around an axial direction.
WORK VEHICLE IMPLEMENT JOINT ORIENTATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A joint orientation system is provided for a work vehicle having a chassis and an implement coupled to the chassis at a joint. The joint orientation system includes a first IMU positioned on a first side of the work vehicle relative to the joint and configured to collect a first IMU acceleration and a first IMU angular velocity and a second IMU positioned on a second side relative to the joint and configured to collect a second acceleration and a second angular velocity of the implement. A controller is configured to receive the first and second IMU accelerations and the first and second IMU angular velocities; determine a joint orientation correction based on IMU accelerations and IMU angular velocities; modify an estimate of joint orientation with the joint orientation correction to generate a current joint orientation; and output the current joint orientation for actuation of the implement.
PIN COUPLER WITH SAFETY LOCK
A pin grabber coupler for coupling an attachment with an excavator having a housing at least between the plates; a rear receiving arch and a forward receiving arch formed by the spaced-apart plates for receiving a pin of the attachment; a wedge lock extending between the spaced-apart plates; and a main actuator driving the wedge lock into the rear receiving arch and retracting the wedge lock from the rear receiving arch. A locking system for locking or unlocking the wedge lock has a latch having a latch end, a lever end, and a pivot therebetween; the latch end engaging the wedge lock once the wedge lock is fully extended into the rear receiving arch; a biasing member coupled to the lever end and biasing the latch end towards the wedge lock; and an unlock actuator opposing the biasing member to disengage the latch end from the wedge lock.
