Dynamic motion optimization for excavating machines

A system for an excavating machine comprises a control system operating aspects of the excavation machine; and a monitoring system receiving inputs from one or more sensors determining if the excavating machine is in a first state or a second state. In operation, if the excavating machine is in the first state, then the control system enables the excavating machine to perform a first action; or if the excavating machine is in the second state, then the control system disable the excavating machine to perform the first action.

Dragline bucket assembly

A dragline bucket assembly including: a cutting edge including a lip and a plurality of teeth or tooth assemblies attachable to the lip and a floor extending rearward from the cutting edge and having side walls extending upward from the periphery of the floor to extend about the floor from one end of the cutting edge to the other, the lip being attachable to the side walls by bolting or by bolting and welding.

Work machine for dragline bucket operation

A work machine, in particular a cable-operated excavator, for dragline bucket operation, a dragline bucket taken up by a hoist rope, wherein the attachment can be retracted by at least one dragline for carrying out the dragging movement and a dragline guide for guiding the dragline is arranged at the work machine, wherein the dragline guide is designed as movable, in particular as linearly movable.

An assembly and method for using a flexible tensile member as part of the rigging for a dragline bucket. The tensile member includes a stranded core surrounded by a separate armor layer. The armor layer assumes the form of a hollow cylinder having a substantial wall thickness. A significant gap is provided between the outward-facing surface of the stranded core and the inward-facing surface of the armor layer. This gap minimizes wear between the two elements during the normal bending and flexing of the tensile member. A first anchor is attached to a first end of the stranded core and a second anchor is attached to a second end of the stranded core. These anchors serve to transmit tension carried by the stranded core. A first end of the armor layer is also attached to the first anchor and a second end of the armor layer is attached to the second anchor.

A dragline bucket comprises a base member, a first side member extending from the base member and including a first top edge, a second side member extending from the base member, and a rear member extending from the base member and including a second top edge, a mouth for receiving material into the bucket, and a first beveled wall extending from the first side member forming a first compound angle with the base member and a second beveled wall extending from the rear member proximate the first beveled wall forming a second compound angle with the base member.

Structural connectors for dragline boom and mast tubular clusters and methods for repair, reinforcement and life extension of dragline booms and masts

A construction for a boom such as a dragline boom provides a spade plate that connects lacing members to a main chord at a cluster. The spade plate is curved. One edge of the spade plate has tabs attached to the lacing members. Another edge of the spade plate is attached to the main chord. The spade plate may be applied for new construction or repair.
