A scraper has an apron, a bowl, a cutting edge, a vehicle attachment, and a pivoting mechanism such that the scraper has a flat position and an angled position. In the flat position the cutting edge is in position to cut into dirt and store the dirt in the bowl, while in the angled position the scraper is rotated such that dirt within the bowl can drop onto the ground in front of the scraper.

Automated Backslope Cutting System

An automated backslope cutting system which, based on a survey of an area, automatically adjusts a scraper blade during the cutting of a ditch backslope. The automated backslope cutting system generally includes a scraper which is automatically adjusted by a computing device to effectuate cutting of backslopes for a ditch based on a desired cut profile. The desired cut profile may be manually entered by the operator and automatically processed by the computing device. The area is surveyed with a positioning sensor to determine an optimal desired cut profile requiring a minimum number of cuts. A proximity sensor may be provided to accommodate for rotational movement of the cutting blade as the scraper performs cuts. A control software is provided for execution by the computing device to provide functionality including the automatic adjustment of hydraulic actuators controlling movement of the cutting blade as the scraper cuts the ditch and backslopes.

APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR TESTING VEHICLE STONE CHIPPING

An apparatus for testing vehicle stone chippings is disclosed. The apparatus includes a stone chipping rig having a chassis. The chassis includes a first end, a second end, and a longitudinally extending tongue extending from the second end. A rolling fixture is coupled to the first end of the chassis. A stone chipping test device is coupled to the first end of the chassis adjacent to the rolling fixture for measuring an impact force of a stone that strikes the stone chipping test device. The apparatus further includes a pilot vehicle used to receive the stone chipping rig so as to measure the impact force of the stone launched off the pilot vehicle wheels when the pilot vehicle travels on a road with loose gravel. The stone chipping rig is defined as a test vehicle towed at a fixed distance behind the pilot vehicle.

Reversible bucket attachment system for a skid steer
09587371 · 2017-03-07 ·

The reversible bucket attachment system for a skid steer includes a mounting plate that is configured to attach to a skid steer or any vehicle. The mounting plate includes an armature that extends rearwardly, and includes a pivoting point on a distal end. The pivoting point enables a bucket to attach thereto. Moreover, the bucket is able to pivot with respect to the armature via the pivoting point. The bucket is able to rotate from a generally parallel orientation with respect to the armature to an obtuse orientation. The bucket is further defined with an inner surface and an outer surface. The mounting plate is configured to attach to the skid steer or vehicle in one of two positions.

High performance implement wear member

A wear member for an earth-working implement includes a body having front, rear, top, bottom, inner side and outer side portions. A cutting edge is defined along at least a portion of a bottom interface.
