The ball stud joint assembly may include a ball stud. The ball stud may include a head. The ball stud may include a stud. The stud may include a grease groove alignable to the grease fitting. The grease groove may include an annular portion and a linear portion. The stud and the housing may form a grease receptacle connected to the linear portion of the grease groove.
Hydraulic control circuit for an articulation assembly
A work vehicle includes a first frame, a second frame pivotally coupled to the first frame at an articulation joint, and a control circuit operable to control relative movement of the first and second frames about the articulation joint. The control circuit includes a pump, an actuator in fluid communication with the pump, and a first valve assembly coupled to a user-manipulable control. The first valve assembly is configured to direct fluid from the pump to the actuator in response to movement of the user-manipulable control to pivot the first and second frames. The control circuit also includes a second valve assembly configured to direct fluid from the pump to the actuator in response to receiving an electronic control signal to pivot the first and second frames.
Motor grader 3D grade control
Systems and methods for providing grade control on a motor grader without the use of masts attached to the blade. Embodiments include a body angle sensor configured to detect movement of a construction machine's body, a front 3D positioning device configured to detect a geospatial position of the construction machine's body within a world space, a drawbar angle sensor configured to detect movement of the construction machine's drawbar, and a blade angle sensor configured to detect movement of the construction machine's blade. Two positions on the blade may be calculated first within a machine space and subsequently within the world space. Movement of at least one articulating connection may be caused based on the blade positions within the world space.
Motor grader 3D grade control
Systems and methods for providing grade control on a motor grader without the use of masts attached to the blade. Embodiments include a body angle sensor configured to detect movement of a construction machine's body, a front GNSS receiver configured to detect a geospatial position of the construction machine's body within a world space, a drawbar angle sensor configured to detect movement of the construction machine's drawbar, and a blade angle sensor configured to detect movement of the construction machine's blade. Two positions on the blade may be calculated first within a machine space and subsequently within the world space. Movement of at least one articulating connection may be caused based on the blade positions within the world space.
Machine orientation display for machines
A machine orientation display may be displayed by an operator display device in an operator station of a machine. The machine orientation display may include a field area, a horizontal reference displayed on the field area, a machine orientation indicator displayed on the field area and positioned and oriented relative to the horizontal reference to graphically indicate a machine orientation of the machine relative to a work surface on which the machine is disposed. The machine orientation display may further include an implement orientation indicator displayed on the field area and positioned and oriented relative to the horizontal reference and the machine orientation indicator to graphically indicate an implement orientation of an implement of the machine. The implement is movable relative to a machine body of the machine and to the work surface.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly for a blade of a motor grader is provided. The mounting assembly includes a mounting bracket having a groove, at least one first bore, and a second bore. The mounting assembly includes a wear element disposed in the groove. The wear element includes at least one recess. The wear element is adapted to slidably receive a portion of the blade thereon. The mounting assembly also includes a retention pin disposed in the at least one first bore. The retention pin includes an aperture provided therein. The retention pin is adapted to engage the at least one recess provided on the wear element to limit longitudinal movement of the wear element within the groove. The mounting assembly further includes a lynch pin disposed in each of the second bore and the aperture to limit axial movement of the retention pin within the at least one first bore.
Power train and motor grader
A power train is provided having a reduced size and weight. A hydraulic motor includes a rotatable output shaft. Wheel bearings rotatably support a rotatable housing relative to a motor housing. A hydraulic clutch mechanism permits or prohibits rotation of a second carrier of a second planetary gear reducer about the center of rotation of the output shaft. The hydraulic clutch mechanism is disposed on the radially inner side relative to the wheel bearings.
WORK VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD
A work vehicle includes an operation apparatus, a transmission having a plurality of gear positions, and a controller configured to control shift of a gear position of the transmission to a gear position equal to or lower than a shift upper limit position based on a vehicle speed of the work vehicle. The controller makes setting to raise the shift upper limit position by one position based on a first operation having been performed onto the operation apparatus. The controller changes the shift upper limit position from a first shift upper limit position immediately before a second operation different from the first operation to a second shift upper limit position based on the second operation having been performed onto the operation apparatus. The second shift upper limit position is higher than the first shift upper limit position by at least two positions.
AUTOMATIC INTERLOCK SYSTEM
An automatic interlock system for a motor grader is disclosed. The automatic interlock system may include one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to determine an operating mode for the motor grader based on one or more operating parameters of the motor grader. The one or more processors may be configured to determine an interlock configuration for the motor grader based on the operating mode. The one or more processors may be configured to selectively activate or deactivate one or more interlocks of the motor grader based on the interlock configuration.
