Systems and methods for backflushing a riser transfer pipe
A method of pumping material from a sea floor to a vessel on a sea surface, including the steps of collecting material from the sea floor using a production tool, connecting the production tool to the vessel with a riser including a riser transfer pipe, and pumping the material from the production tool to the vessel using a subsea slurry lift pump positioned between the production tool and the vessel and attached to the production tool by the riser transfer pipe. The method further includes backflushing the riser transfer pipe by running seawater through the slurry lift pump into the riser transfer pipe toward the production tool.
BOOM HOSE APPARATUS
A boom hose apparatus for a material collection vehicle includes a telescoping boom assembly and a hose assembly supported by the boom assembly. The boom assembly includes a plurality of telescoping conduits. A flexible hose is received through the telescoping conduits and can slidably extend from, or retract into, the conduits independently from the telescoping of the conduits.
Spud carrier
A spud system for a dredging vessel with a longitudinal direction includes a spud carrier for mounting a spud therein in a generally vertical stance and a spud carrier cable driving device coupled with the dredging vessel and the spud carrier for driving the spud carrier with respect to the dredging vessel. The spud carrier is moveable with respect to a longitudinal direction of the dredging vessel for advancing the dredging vessel. The spud carrier cable driving device comprises at least an aft cable drive system which extends at an aft side of the spud carrier, and a fore cable drive system separate from the aft cable drive system. The fore cable drive system extends at a fore side of the spud carrier, and each of the aft cable drive system and the fore cable drive system is coupled with the dredging vessel and the spud carrier
WATER CONSERVATING SILT DISCHARGING DEVICE
A water conserving silt discharging device includes a moving bottom plate. A first material conveying water pump, a stirring box, a filler box and a compression box are sequentially arranged on an upper portion of the moving bottom plate. And a roller mechanism is arranged on each of four diagonal portions of a lower portion of the moving bottom palate. A controller, an infrared sensor and a high-definition camera assembly are arranged on the upper portion of the moving bottom plate. The first material conveying water pump conveys silt material to the stirring box through a convey pipe. A jitter mechanism assembly is arranged at a bottom portion of the stirring box to generate jittering. The jitter mechanism assembly comprises a plurality of identically shaking spring bodies and a driving cylinder arranged on the shaking spring bodies.
MIXING SYSTEMS HAVING DISK ASSEMBLIES
Mixing systems that include a mixer housing and one or more disk assemblies for mixing and processing materials is disclosed. The disks rotate to mix an additive into the material and to carry agglomerated solids toward a discharge of the mixing system. The disks may have a plurality of fingers or lobes which extend from a central portion of the disks.

Wide-format swinging ladder dredge
A wide format dredge apparatus provides a floating vessel or hull with one or more anchor lines, anchors or spuds that enable an operator to hold the hull in a selected locale. Port and starboard booms extend in generally opposite directions from the hull. An elongated ladder is pivotally attached to the hull. The ladder is configured to swing between port and starboard positions. Port and starboard swing devices are rigged to the booms. When the ladder swings to the port position, the starboard swing device is lengthened and the port swing device is shortened. When the ladder swings to the starboard position, the port swing device is lengthened and the starboard swing device is shortened. Each swing cable spans from a boom at a position spaced away from the hull to the outer end portion of the ladder. A lifting device is provided for raising and lowering the ladder. A float or tank travels along the ladder. The float or tank at least partially supports the ladder.
VEHICLE COMPRISING A TIPPABLE MATERIAL COLLECTION CONTAINER AND EMPTYING MODULE
The invention relates to a vehicle comprising a tiltable material collecting container which is suspended in a tilt axle running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and a telescoping device. The tilt axle runs in a plane of symmetry of the material collecting container. The frame-side ends of the telescope arms are pivotably attached to the frame in the central plane. At least one rotary drive is arranged on the container-side end of at least one telescope arm to enable a rotation of the material collecting container about the tile axle. At least one pivot drive, which enables pivoting of the telescope arms out of the center plane of the vehicle in both angular directions, is provided.
VEHICLE COMPRISING A TIPPABLE MATERIAL COLLECTION CONTAINER AND EMPTYING MODULE
The invention relates to a vehicle comprising a tiltable material collecting container which is suspended in a tilt axle running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and a telescoping device. The tilt axle runs in a plane of symmetry of the material collecting container. The frame-side ends of the telescope arms are pivotably attached to the frame in the central plane. At least one rotary drive is arranged on the container-side end of at least one telescope arm to enable a rotation of the material collecting container about the tile axle. At least one pivot drive, which enables pivoting of the telescope arms out of the center plane of the vehicle in both angular directions, is provided.
