The application relates to a double acting demolition device according to one embodiment for demolishing structures. The device includes a first crushing jaw for crushing operation, a first cutting jaw for cutting operation, and a combination jaw. The first jaws are separate jaws. The combination jaw is attachable to the first cutting jaw for constructing a second crushing jaw and to the first crushing jaw for constructing a second cutting jaw. The second crushing jaw is used jointly with the first crushing jaw in crushing operation and the second cutting jaw is used jointly with the first cutting jaw in cutting operation. In crushing operation, the first crushing jaw rotates around a fulcrum other than that of the second cutting jaw in cutting operation.

A cylinder acceleration mechanism includes a buffer tank that supplies and discharges oil to and from a bottom-side line that is connected to a bottom-side chamber of an actuating cylinder, and an inversion lever having an intermediate fulcrum as a rotation axis. The buffer tank includes a buffer chamber with a variable capacity achieved by a seal lid moving back and forth inside of a case, and extends and reduces a length of a coupling rod provided to the seal lid and projects from the case. A bottom-side branching line branched from the bottom-side line is connected to the buffer chamber. The actuating rod of the actuating cylinder and the coupling rod of the buffer tank are coupled to respective ends of the inversion lever. The actuating rod and the coupling rod extend and retract alternately with respect to each other as the inversion lever turns.

There is disclosed a system and methods of use for quickly and efficiently excavating, cross-cutting, splitting, and loading or stockpiling tree stumpage and other tree or organic materials, as well as for performing ground cleanup operations. One embodiment provides a stump harvester for attachment to a distal end of an excavator arm. The stump harvester may include front and back jaw assemblies configured to pivot between open and closed positions. The back jaw assembly may include a knife arm having a cutting blade that extends along a majority of a front side of the knife arm. A centerline plane may bisect a cutting edge of the blade. The front jaw assembly may include a planar-aligned dual anvil configured to sheath the cutting edge of the blade when the front and the back jaw assemblies move into the closed position. An active module is removably coupled to the second coupling portion and comprises a body member and a pair of braces disposed on opposite sides of the body member, wherein a brace extends over the second coupling elements. The wear plate may be replaced when worn out.
