Object detection system and method

A detection system used to alert an operator of a work machine of humans or objects dangerously close to the machine or a work tool attached to the machine. The detection system uses one or more cameras to capture images of an area surrounding the machine. The captured images are displayed on an interface electronically connected to a processor. Prior to operation, one or more zones surrounding the work tool or work machine are defined and projected on the images displayed on the interface. The processor analyzes the images captured by the cameras and determines if a characteristic of a predetermined object is within one or more of the identified zones. If the processor determines the characteristic of the predetermined object is within one of the zones, the processor will identify the object on the display and trigger a warning system to alert to the operator to take necessary precautions.

When the subsea support frame is separate from the cart, the subsea support frame is configured to be suspended above the seabed or arranged beside the subsea pipeline at a distance from the subsea pipeline as the cart runs along the subsea pipeline.

The method derives one or more landscape metrics, wherein the one or more landscape metrics comprise soil metrics, environmental conditions, and vegetation water consumption metrics. The method further generates a digital twin of proposed trench and ridge metrics based on the derived one or more landscape metrics, wherein the proposed trench and ridge metrics comprise a depth of the trench, a distance between one or more trenches, a stream size, a slope of the trench, and a shape of the trench. The method further determines a trench pattern based on the generated digital twin of the proposed trench and ridge metrics and collaborates with the autonomous robotic soil dredger to generate the trench pattern.

Work machine

A hydraulic excavator acquires operation content frequency data in a designated period based on output values output from a plurality of sensors sensing parameters that serve as indicators of operation contents performed via an operation device. A storage section stores a plurality of guide screens each corresponding to one of a plurality of work patterns of the hydraulic excavator. A work identifying section searches actual result data in the storage section for actual result data that matches or is similar to the operation content frequency data acquired by the data acquiring section in terms of operation contents and frequency thereof, and that identifies a current work pattern based on a work pattern allocated to actual result data related to a result of the search. A display device displays a guide screen corresponding to the work pattern identified by the work identifying section among the plurality of guide screens.
