BULLDOZER WITH FIRE APPARATUS
An apparatus for a bulldozer that makes the process of controlling a wildfire safer and more effective. The apparatus includes a large capacity water tank that can be mounted to a rear of dozer using a frame. A pump can draw water from the water tank and pump the water at a high pressure. One or more hose reels can also be provided. Strategically positioned sprayers can spray water to nearby surrounding, in particular, on the Fireline made by the dozer. A major safety feature is a remote controlled monitor mounted on the front of the dozers can spray water directed by the operator can protect the dozer from fire as well as fire personnel if a fire comes at the dozer or fire personnel.
ONLINE MACHINE LEARNING FOR DETERMINING SOIL PARAMETERS
When an EMV performs an action comprising moving a tool of the EMV through soil or other material, the EMV can measure a current speed of the tool through the material and a current kinematic pressure exerted on the tool by the material. Using the measured current speed and kinematic pressure, the EMV system can use a machine learned model to determine one or more soil parameters of the material. The EMV can then make decisions based on the soil parameters, such as by selecting a tool speed for the EMV based on the determined soil parameters.
Machine dump body control using object detection
A mobile work machine includes a frame, a material loading system having a material receiving area configured to receive material and an actuator configured to control the material loading system to move the material receiving area relative to the frame, and a control system configured to receive an indication of a detected object, determine a location of the object relative to the material loading system, and generate a control signal that controls the mobile work machine based on the determined location.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO RETRIGGER DETECTION BASED PROXIMITY ALARM SYSTEMS
A proximity warning system including cameras positioned on a machine, processors, and one or more memory devices including instructions for execution by the processors. The system includes instructions to receive, from the cameras, image data depicting an object within a field of view of the cameras. The system includes instructions to derive a first distance between the object and the machine based on the image data and an alarm is triggered when the first distance is less than a first threshold distance. The system can include instructions to receive a request to snooze the alarm and discontinue the alarm. Additional image data can be received from the cameras and a second distance between the object and the machine is derived based on the additional image data. The system includes instructions to cancel the snooze and retrigger the alarm when the second distance is less than a second threshold distance.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING OPERATING TERRAIN, AND ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT FOR DETECTING OPERATING TERRAIN
A method for detecting an operating terrain is provided. The method includes obtaining point cloud data of an operating region that are collected by a laser radar at a current time, including three-dimensional coordinates of a plurality of sampling points. The operating region is divided into a plurality of grids, each having a corresponding height value. The method includes for any grid determining an input point of the grid from the plurality of sampling points, based on the three-dimensional coordinates. The method includes determining a type of the input point, based on a height coordinate of the input point and the height value of the grid. The type includes a noise point and a ground point. The method includes in response to determining that the input point is the ground point, updating the height value of the grid based on the height coordinate of the input point.
WORK VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING VISUALLY-MANIPULATED CONTEXT VIEWS
A work vehicle display system utilized in piloting a work vehicle includes a display device having a display screen, a context camera mounted to the work vehicle and positioned to capture a context camera feed of the work vehicle's exterior environment, and a controller architecture. The controller architecture is configured to: (i) receive the context camera feed from the context camera; (ii) generate a visually-manipulated context view utilizing the context camera feed; and (iii) output the visually-manipulated context view to the display device for presentation on the display screen. In the process of generating the visually-manipulated context view, the controller architecture applies a dynamic distortion-perspective (D/P) modification effect to the context camera feed, while gradually adjusting a parameter of the dynamic D/P modification effect in response to changes in operator viewing preferences or in response to changes in a current operating condition of the work vehicle.
Vehicular work machine and method for vehicular work machine water control
The present disclosure relates to a vehicular work machine (10) that is adapted for handling at least two different interchangeable tools (4). The machine (10) also comprises a user control device (11) and a water supply arrangement (31) that is adapted to distribute water for retaining dust that is created when a tool (4) is used, The water supply arrangement (31) comprises a controllable valve (24) that is arranged to control the flow of the water that is distributed via at least one nozzle (29). The user control device (11) is arranged for selection of a desired tool, where at least one selectable tool is associated with a certain predefined water setting. Each water setting relates to a certain relative flow of distributed water during a certain time that is related to the time said tool (4) is chosen and performing a certain work procedure, and/or to the time said tool (4) is chosen and ready to perform a certain work procedure.
System for machine and dual implement control
A system for controlling the lateral traverse position of a front three-point hitch mounted side-shifting implement and a rear three-point hitch mounted side-shifting implement on a mobile machinery such as an agricultural tractor with an controllable automated steering device, while simultaneously controlling the position of the tractor relative to the positions of each of the two side-shifting implements. The system uses a controller to control the positions of the side-shifting-implements using information received from a position monitoring system communication with roving receivers mounted on the side-shifting-implements. The controller also controls the position of the mobile machinery using local relationship sensors mounted on the side-shifting-implement's position and on the mobile machinery's position. The relationship sensors allow the controller to use two roving data receivers instead of three roving data receivers to control both the position of the side shifting implements and the position of the mobile machinery.
