A mining machine is disclosed. The mining machine may include a mobile ranging device, a movement sensor device, and a control unit. The mobile ranging device may be configured to communicate with a location sensor device and cause the location sensor device to transmit location data relating to a location of the mining machine. The movement sensor device may be configured to transmit movement data relating to a movement of the mining machine. The control unit may be configured to receive coordinate data relating to a plurality of zones and a plurality of drawpoints of a tunnel, the location data, and the movement data. The control unit may identify an active zone, determine a machine heading, determine a machine articulation, identify an active drawpoint based on the active zone, the machine heading, or the machine articulation, and cause an action to be performed in connection with the active drawpoint.
MATERIAL TRACKING BASED ON VEHICLE WORK TOOL LOCATION
A worksite controller can automatically track movement of material on a worksite, based on location information and work event information provided by vehicles on the worksite. The worksite controller can determine and/or use a location of a work tool of a vehicle, rather than coordinates determined by a location sensor mounted elsewhere on the vehicle, to determine when the work tool is located within defined boundaries of work zones associated with material. When the worksite controller determines that the vehicle performed a work event to interact with material while the work tool was within a particular work zone, the worksite controller can automatically update material tracking information associated with the work zone.

A candidate route can be selected, validated, and set as a selected route using the user interface to access route properties associated with the selected route. Requirements can be set for one or more of the route properties using the user interface. The work machines can be controlled to traverse the mine site according to the requirements set for the route properties.
