WORKSITE PLAN EXECUTION
A method includes receiving a worksite plan to be executed by at least one machine at a worksite from a computing device of a supervising entity, the controller being located at a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) location with respect to the worksite. The worksite plan may include a boundary of the worksite at which the worksite plan is implemented, at least one task defining the worksite plan, and a selection of at least one machine to perform the task. The method may include receiving a validation signal from a device located at the worksite, the validation indicating that the worksite is ready for implementation of the worksite plan based on at least one parameter of worksite readiness. The method may include selecting a first mode of operation of the machine to perform the task and transmitting first instructions to the machine to perform the task based on the first mode of operation.

A first work machine includes a work implement. A method of controlling the first work machine includes acquiring a traveling state of the first work machine that is performing work with the work implement while traveling on a first work path, determining whether the first work machine is deviating from the first work path based on the traveling state, and stopping travel of the first work machine upon determining that the first work machine is deviating from the first work path.
CONTROL OF MULTIPLE POWER MACHINES
A control system is provided for a first power machine having a first actuator and a second power machine having a second actuator. The first power machine includes a first user input device. Aa first user input corresponding to a power machine operation can be received via the first user input device and a control mode for controlling the execution of the power machine operation can be determined. Controlling the execution of the power machine operation can selectively include: in a local control mode, controlling the first actuator to execute the power machine operation with the first power machine; and in a remote control mode, controlling the second actuator to execute the power machine operation with the second power machine.
Wear Prediction and Notification System
An ID tag is disposed on a plurality of components of a machine. A controller stores a usage threshold for each component, receives signals from an ID tag reader, and associates an identification number from each ID tag with a component of the machine. The controller determines previous usage data for each component, determines an extent of usage of the machine since generation of the previous usage data, determines current usage data for each component based upon the extent of usage of the machine and the previous usage data, and compares the current usage data for each component to the usage threshold for each component. The controller generates an alert for each component in which the current usage data for that component exceeds its usage threshold and transmits the alert to a system remote from the machine.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WORK MACHINE
A system includes a plurality of work machines, a communication device, an operating device, and a controller. The plurality of work machines are able to operate automatically. The plurality of work machines include a first work machine and a second work machine. The communication device communicates wirelessly with the plurality of work machines. The operating device transmits an operation signal to the plurality of work machines via the communication device. The operating device is able to operate the plurality of work machines remotely and individually. The controller disables the operation of the operating device on the first work machine when the first work machine and the second work machine are operating automatically.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING WORK PLAN FOR AUTONOMOUS OPERATION OF COMPACTOR
A system for generating a work plan for autonomous operation of a compactor in tandem with an earthmoving machine includes a first controller that receives information pertaining to a work area on which the earthmoving machine is required to perform at least one operation. The system also includes a central controller that receives, from the first controller, information pertaining to the work area on which the earthmoving machine is required to perform the at least one operation and analyzes the work area for virtually segmenting the work area into a plurality of virtual work areas. The central controller also receives, from the first controller, data indicative of a movement of the earthmoving machine through each virtual work area from the plurality of virtual work areas and determines an optimal direction of movement for the compactor based on the data indicative of the movement of the earthmoving machine.
System and method for obscurant mitigation
In accordance with an example embodiment, a system and method for obscurant mitigation is disclosed. The system comprises an obscurant assessor configured to characterize one or more characteristics of a detected obscurant and generate an obscurant model; an obscurant mitigator configured to perform one or more mitigation operations; and a controller communicatively coupled to each of the obscurant assessor and the obscurant mitigator. The controller is configured to receive an output signal from a vehicle sensor corresponding to a detected obscurant level and determine if the detected obscurant level exceeds a predetermined threshold. The controller generates an obscurant mitigation plan if the detected obscurant level exceeds the predetermined threshold based on the obscurant model generated by the obscurant assessor; and controls operations of an obscurant mitigator based on the obscurant mitigation plan to reduce the detected obscurant level.
Method for remote operation of machines using a mobile device
A method for remote operation of machines using a mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device may detect and display one or more machines. The mobile device may establish a wireless connection with a machine. The mobile device may retrieve and display machine related information including one or more machine parameters, one or more implements, and one or more controls of the machine. In addition, the mobile device may transmit input commands received from an operator via the controls to the machine. The machine may be configured to establish the wireless connection with the mobile device and broadcast machine related information to the mobile device. The machine may also execute the input commands received from the mobile device and perform one or more functions. The method includes steps performed by the mobile device and the machine for the remote operation respectively.
OPERATION SYSTEM OF WORKING MACHINE
The present invention improves a work efficiency of an entire system for operating a plurality of working machines. An operation system of the working machine includes a work progress calculating unit 80 which calculates a work progress of a plurality of working machines or a scheduled ending time calculating unit 81 which calculates a scheduled ending time of a work by using the work progress calculated by the work progress calculating unit 80. A working machine of which an operation is switched from automatic control to remote control is determined from among the plurality of working machines by using the work progress or the scheduled ending time, and the operation system includes a centralized operation controller 43 which transmits an operation instruction to the determined working machine.
