Self-propelling work machine and method for braking such a work machine
The application describes a self-propelling work machine, in the form of a truck, having an electric drive comprising at least one electric motor, a generator drivable by an internal combustion engine for the power supply of the electric drive, and a braking apparatus for braking the work machine, wherein the braking apparatus provides a regenerative braking by the electric drive and a feedback apparatus for feeding back electrical motor braking power of the electric motor to the generator to apply the motor braking power on the internal combustion engine. The application further describes a method for braking the work machine. A braking control apparatus is provided for an automatic connection of a mechanical brake in dependence on the motor braking power fed back to the internal combustion engine and/or in dependence on the operating state of the internal combustion engine acted on by the fed back motor braking power.

A working machine includes a first traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a first pressure receiving portion when a traveling operation member is operated, a second traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a second pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, a third traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a third pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, a fourth traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a fourth pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, and a controller configured or programed to judge, first, second, third and fourth pilot pressures, whether the traveling operation member is operated in a direction corresponding to any of spin-turn, pivotal-turn and straight-traveling.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR TRANSFERRING A HEAVY WORK MACHINE ON A SLOPING BASE
A method for slowing transfer of a heavy work machine on a sloping base using a transportation device equipped with wheels, the work machine including a body, a crawler chassis fitted beneath the body, a set of booms having at least one operating cylinder, a first end and a second end, said set of booms being pivoted at the first end to the work machine and a selected auxiliary device is pivoted at the second end, and a brake surface connected to the auxiliary device, in which method includes the steps of transferring the work machine by supporting the work machine on the crawler chassis at least partly on top of the transportation device, towing the work machine using a transfer vehicle with the aid of the transportation device, using said operating cylinder of the set of booms to press the brake surface against the sloping base to create friction to slow transfer speed of the transportation device on the sloping base, and adjusting pressing of the brake surface taking place through the auxiliary device using the operating cylinder or one set of booms. An arrangement in connection with a heavy work machine for transferring the work machine on a sloping base is also described.
Method for controlling brake forces of a working machine
A method is disclosed for controlling brake forces of a working machine, the working machine including a frame and two front wheels and two rear wheels mounted to the frame, the working machine further including a front wheel brake arranged to brake at least one of the front wheels, and a rear wheel brake arranged to brake at least one of the rear wheels, the front wheel brake being controllable independently of the rear wheel brake, and vice versa, the working machine further including an implement connected to the frame so as to be movable in relation to the frame. The method includes determining a position of the implement in relation to the frame, and distributing the brake forces between the front and rear wheel brakes at least partly based on the determined implement position.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a prime mover, a traveling device, a traveling clutch switchable between an engaged state to transmit, to the traveling device, power provided from the prime mover and a disengaged state to interrupt the power transmitting to the traveling device, an automatic switching controller to switch the traveling clutch from the disengaged state to the engaged state, and a status detector to detect at least either a status of the prime mover or a status of the traveling device. The automatic switching controller changes a switching speed of the traveling clutch switched from the disengaged state to the engaged state based on the status detected by the status detector.
WORK MACHINE
Lubricating performance of a parking brake is ensured and fuel efficiency during traveling is improved. A parking brake for braking rotation of an output shaft is disposed around the output shaft rotated by driving force. The output shaft is provided with an axial oil passage, a first discharge hole, and a second discharge hole. The axial oil passage extends in an axial direction of the output shaft. The first discharge hole and the second discharge hole communicate with the axial oil passage and open in an outer circumferential surface of the output shaft at an installation position of the parking brake in the axial direction.

A control device for a power machine includes a target circuit pressure specifying unit configured to specify a target circuit pressure of the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission, a measurement value acquisition unit configured to acquire an actual circuit pressure of the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission, a brake torque determination unit configured to determine a brake torque based on the target circuit pressure and the actual circuit pressure, and a pump control unit configured to control the hydraulic pump based on the brake torque. The brake torque is a torque consumed by the hydraulic pump.

A working machine includes a first traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a first pressure receiving portion when a traveling operation member is operated, a second traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a second pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, a third traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a third pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, a fourth traveling fluid line through which operation fluid applied to a fourth pressure receiving portion when the traveling operation member is operated, and a controller configured or programed to judge, first, second, third and fourth pilot pressures, whether the traveling operation member is operated in a direction corresponding to any of spin-turn, pivotal-turn and straight-traveling.
Locking out a machine to prohibit movement
A construction machine includes a system and method for performing a lockout or stand down of the machine to prohibit movement of the machine or one or more components of the machine, without shutting down the machine. Information about the status of the machine or a component thereof can be collected and relayed to an electronic control module (ECM) to determine whether to lockout the construction machine. If appropriate, the ECM can command lockout to an electrical component of the machine or component to prohibit movement of the machine or component until the lockout is released.

A working vehicle includes a prime mover, a traveling device, a traveling clutch switchable between an engaged state to transmit, to the traveling device, power provided from the prime mover and a disengaged state to interrupt the power transmitting to the traveling device, an automatic switching controller to switch the traveling clutch from the disengaged state to the engaged state, and a status detector to detect at least either a status of the prime mover or a status of the traveling device.
