Hydraulic system for working machine

A hydraulic system for a working machine includes a hydraulic actuator having a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber, an accumulator, an outputting fluid tube to output an operation fluid, and a switching valve to be switched between a first position and a second position. The first position allows the first fluid chamber and the second fluid chamber to be communicated with the outputting fluid tube and thereby allowing a floating operation. The second position allows the first fluid chamber and the accumulator to be communicated with each other, allows the second fluid chamber and the outputting fluid tube to be communicated with each other, and thereby allows an anti-vibration operation.

Online machine learning for determining soil parameters

When an EMV performs an action comprising moving a tool of the EMV through soil or other material, the EMV can measure a current speed of the tool through the material and a current kinematic pressure exerted on the tool by the material. Using the measured current speed and kinematic pressure, the EMV system can use a machine learned model to determine one or more soil parameters of the material. The EMV can then make decisions based on the soil parameters, such as by selecting a tool speed for the EMV based on the determined soil parameters.

When a bucket 10 is grounded on soil, an operation signal is outputted or corrected such that a relative angle of the bucket 10 with respect to a target surface is maintained if a distance D between the bucket 10 and the target surface 60 is equal to or less than a preset first threshold value D1. When the bucket 10 is not grounded on soil, the operation signal is outputted or corrected such that the relative angle of the bucket 10 with respect to the target surface 60 is maintained if the distance between the bucket 10 and the target surface 60 is equal to or less than a preset second threshold value D2 set smaller than the first threshold value D1. As a result, control to maintain an angle of a work tool can be suitably started.

Construction machine

A construction machine that precisely enables derivation of the operation characteristics of hydraulic actuators in a high-velocity area with less calibration operation is provided. A controller (10) has a calibration mode in which the controller (10) derives operation characteristics (α(xs)) representing a relation among a spool position (xs) of a meter-in valve (8a1), an operation velocity (Va) of a hydraulic actuator (4a), and a differential pressure (ΔP) across the meter-in valve (8a1), and is configured to, in a case where the spool position (xs) of the meter-in valve (8a1) has changed in a direction to increase the opening area of the meter-in valve (8a1) in the calibration mode, output a command signal to increase the opening area of a bleed-off valve (8b1) to a bleed-off solenoid proportional pressure-reducing valve (8b2) as a command signal to reduce the differential pressure (ΔP).

Work Machine Control System

A work machine control system includes: a monitoring apparatus that detects a position and an action of a person in a monitored area set around a hydraulic excavator; and a controller that generates a control signal for limiting an action of the hydraulic excavator on the basis of a positional relation between the hydraulic excavator and a detected person detected by the monitoring apparatus, and controls the hydraulic excavator on the basis of the control signal. The controller determines which of a cooperating worker and a non-cooperating worker the detected person is, on the basis of an action of the detected person; and changes an allowable velocity of the work machine at a time of limiting an action of the work machine on the basis of a result of the determination or on the basis of the result of the determination and the action of the work machine.

Cycle time calibration

A work vehicle including a chassis, a ground engaging implement configured to move the chassis along a ground surface, a boom connected to the chassis, an arm connected to the boom, and a bucket connected to the arm. A first actuator rotates the boom with respect to the chassis, second actuator rotates the arm with respect to the boom, and a third actuator rotates the bucket with respect to the arm. A processor calculates a first cycle time of operation of the first actuator, and analyzes if the calculated first cycle time is valid. If the first cycle time is valid, the processor communicates the calculated first cycle time to a user, and if the first cycle time is not valid, the processor repeats the calculation of the first cycle time of operation of the first actuator.
