DEODORANT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ZINC AND ERYTHRITOL
Embodiments include formulations for topical administration of sugar alcohol to treat a skin condition such as athlete's foot, a yeast infection, jock itch (Tinea cruris), a toe nail infection, diaper rash, diaper candidiasis, ringworm (Tinea capitis), impetigo, erythrasma, pitted keratolysis, trichomycosis and sphingomonas paucimobilis. The formulation can include a moisturizer, an emollient, a sugar alcohol and zinc. In aspects, the sugar alcohol is erythritol with zinc chloride at a molar ratio of about 3:1. Embodiments also include erythritol-zinc antimicrobial coatings for personal use products.
MALODOR-COUNTERACTING COMPOUNDS, COMPOSITIONS, AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are compounds, compositions, and methods for counteracting malodor and providing longevity and durability to fragrance ingredients. Also provided are consumer products including malodor-counteracting compounds or compositions.
APPARATUS AND A PROCESS FOR STERILIZING AND RINSING CONTAINERS
A process for sterilizing and rinsing containers, the process comprising the following steps: sterilizing the containers with a sterilizing solution coming from a first tank; after sterilization, subjecting the containers to a first rinsing by dispensing towards them a first amount of sterile water from a UHT device in a first rinsing tract of an advancement path of the containers; after the first rinsing, subjecting the containers to a second rinsing by dispensing towards them a second amount of sterile water from said UHT device in a second rinsing tract of the path; and collecting at least part of exhaust sterile water dropping from the containers undergoing the second rinsing and sending it to the UHT device.
FRAGRANCE AND DISPENSER
The present invention provides a fragrance composition comprising at least one fragrance, at least one alkoxy alcohol solvent, and at least one co-solvent, and wherein the composition has a water content of less than 5 wt. %. The invention further provides an atomiser for dispensing a fragrance; the atomiser comprising: a. An outer housing; b. An orifice plate and piezo electric element; c. A liquid reservoir comprising a liquid to be atomised, the liquid comprising the fragrance composition hereinabove; and d. A liquid transport member, wherein the liquid transport member extends from within the liquid reservoir to abut the orifice plate, and wherein the liquid transport member is substantially contained within the liquid reservoir and both the liquid transport member and liquid reservoir are readily detachable together from the atomiser.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR NEUTRALIZATION OF AIRBORNE ALLERGENS WITH ORGANIC ACIDS
A system includes an anti-allergen formulation and a device that generates droplets of the formulation to be delivered to an air environment. The aqueous formulation includes an organic acid having a vapor pressure between 0.001 Pa and 172 Pa and an aqueous solubility of at least 24.99 grams organic acid per 100 grams water, both at room temperature and standard pressure. The device can generate droplets of the formulation having a median particle size (Dv50) of no greater than 120 micrometers. The formulation delivered as droplets in an air environment can provide a statistically significant reduction, over a control, in one or more airborne allergens as measured by an enzyme linked immunoassay. In addition, the formulation delivered as droplets in the air environment can be effective to neutralize greater than 50% of one or more airborne allergens present in the air environment.
SYSTEM FOR ON-DEMAND MANUFACTURING OF PARENTERAL SOLUTIONS
A system for manufacturing parenteral solutions includes a drug dosage module and a mixing module. The drug dosage module includes a source of one or more parenteral drug solutes, and one or more metering devices configured to discharge a metered dosage of each of the parenteral drug solutes. The mixing module includes a container configured to receive water-for-injection (WFI) and the parenteral drug solutes discharged from the one or more metering devices, and a mixer configured to mix water-for-injection (WFI) and the parenteral drug solutes in the container to form a parenteral solution.
COMPOSITIONS PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE MICROBIAL INHIBITORY CONCENTRATIONS OF ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOUNDS
The present disclosure relates to compositions and associated apparatuses that provide an effective microbial inhibitory headspace concentration of allyl isothiocyanate, citral, thymol, linalool, terpincol, eugenol, or a combination of any two or more thereof.
SATURATED QUATERNARY AMMONIUM COMPOUNDS, GLUTARALDEHYDE, AND TETRAKIS(HYDROXYMETHYL)PHOSPHONIUM SULFATE FOR CORROSION INHIBITION, CLEANING, AND BIOCIDAL EFFICACY IN HYDROGEN SYSTEMS
Methods for inhibiting corrosion, cleaning and/or providing biocidal efficacy in hydrogen rich environments that are in hydrogen systems or hydrogen mediums using saturated alkyl diquaternary compound containing compositions, saturated alkyl quaternary compound containing compositions, aldehyde containing compositions, and/or tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulfate containing compositions are provided. The methods provide efficacious corrosion inhibition, cleaning and/or biocidal efficacy without loss of stability due to hydrogenation in hydrogen rich environments.
Hydrogen peroxide disinfectant composition
The present invention herein provides a disinfectant composition containing a) an effective amount of a hydrogen peroxide source, b) a blend of at least one aromatic alcohol and at least one glycol or glycol ether, c) at least one nonionic and/or anionic surfactant and d) at least one acid. Furthermore a method of using the disinfectant composition is also provided, whereby the composition can be applied to any surface and effectively kill a majority of tuberculosis and/or M. terrae microbes; resulting in a >5 log reduction at a contact time of 5 minutes or less.
