POWER MACHINE HAND THROTTLE AND FOOT THROTTLE CONTROL
20230250615 · 2023-08-10 ·

Power machines, control systems and methods are disclosed that automatically control engine speed and travel speed, in two different modes of operation. In a first mode of operation, both of engine speed and travel speed are controlled responsive to actuation of a foot throttle. In a second mode of operation, the foot throttle controls travel speed, but engine speed is controlled by a hand throttle. Selection of which of the first and second modes to utilize is based upon an actuation position of the hand throttle.

HYDRAULIC FLUID TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT CONTROL OF ENGINE SPEEDS IN SELF-PROPELLED WORK VEHICLES
20220127822 · 2022-04-28 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for fluid temperature-dependent control of engine speeds in a self-propelled work vehicle. An engine speed sensor generates signals representing an engine speed, and a temperature sensor generates signals representing a hydraulic fluid temperature. A controller receives the respective signals from the engine speed sensor and the temperature sensor. The controller is further configured, responsive to a startup command, to generate output signals preventing an increase in the engine speed to a target engine speed at least while the temperature of the hydraulic fluid is in a first temperature state. The controller may, e.g., automatically generate output signals for continuous and/or stepwise transitioning of the engine speed to the target engine speed, in accordance with a monitored temperature of the hydraulic fluid and corresponding temperature states.

An excavation plan creation device includes a storage unit configured to store a plurality of planning models each of which is a machine learning model that receives, as an input, terrain information and that outputs a planned value of an excavation trajectory and a swing direction. The planning models have performed machine learning with parameters related to soil quality which are different from each other. A soil quality estimation unit is configured to estimate soil quality. A terrain information acquisition unit is configured to acquire terrain information. A planned value calculation unit is configured to select the planning model on the basis of the soil quality estimated by the soil quality estimation unit, input the terrain information acquired by the terrain information acquisition unit to the selected planning model, and calculate the planned value as an output of the planning model.

Drive for a machine

A drive for a machine includes a computer configured to control a first electric motor for driving vehicle wheels and a second electric motor for driving a work attachment. The second electric motor is configured to drive at least one hydraulic pump with an adjustable stroke volume. A sensor is configured to detect the stroke volume of the pump. The computer processes the stroke volume to control the second electric motor.

Working machine

A working machine includes a prime mover, a hydraulic pump to be driven by power of the prime mover and to output operation fluid, a hydraulic actuator to be operated by the operation fluid, and a control device. The control device has a revolving-speed controller to increase and decrease a revolving speed of the prime mover, a first setting portion to set a limit value of the revolving speed of the prime mover, and a revolving-speed limiter to limit the revolving speed of the prime mover set by the revolving-speed controller to the limit value set by the first setting portion.

WORKING MACHINE

A working machine includes a machine body, a traveling device provided on the machine body, a traveling motor configured to provide power to the traveling device and to be switched between a first speed and a second speed, a traveling operation member to be operated by an operator, an operation detector to detect an operation extent of the traveling operation member, a traveling pump driven in response to the operation extent to supply operation fluid to the traveling motor, a revolution detector to detect a motor revolving speed, and a controller configured to switch the traveling motor from the second speed to the first speed when the motor revolving speed is equal to or less than a deceleration threshold, and then to switch the traveling motor from the first speed to the second speed when the motor revolving speed is equal to or greater than a return threshold.

Excavator control for load delivery

An engine on an excavator provides power to a hydraulic pump that pumps hydraulic fluid under pressure to a hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic actuator is controlled to place a load on the engine. Engine response to the load placed on it by the hydraulic actuator is detected and logged. The logged engine response data can be accessed to identify engine response.

Cycle time calibration

A work vehicle including a chassis, a ground engaging implement configured to move the chassis along a ground surface, a boom connected to the chassis, an arm connected to the boom, and a bucket connected to the arm. A first actuator rotates the boom with respect to the chassis, second actuator rotates the arm with respect to the boom, and a third actuator rotates the bucket with respect to the arm. A processor calculates a first cycle time of operation of the first actuator, and analyzes if the calculated first cycle time is valid. If the first cycle time is valid, the processor communicates the calculated first cycle time to a user, and if the first cycle time is not valid, the processor repeats the calculation of the first cycle time of operation of the first actuator.

System for controlling work vehicle, method for controlling work vehicle, and work vehicle

When a current landscape includes an upward slope and a downward slope existing ahead of the upward slope, a controller determines a virtual design surface including a first design surface inclined at a smaller angle than the upward slope and a second design surface inclined with respect to the first design surface at a smaller angle than the downward slope. The controller generates a command signal that causes a work implement to move along the virtual design surface.

Hydraulic excavator drive system

A hydraulic excavator drive system includes: a first pump connected to a boom main control valve and an arm auxiliary control valve by a first pump line; a second pump connected to a boom auxiliary control valve and an arm main control valve by a second pump line; and a controller that does not move the arm auxiliary control valve when arm crowding operation boom raising operations are performed concurrently. The boom auxiliary control valve moves together with the boom main control valve when the boom raising operation is performed. A boom raising second supply line, which connects the boom auxiliary control valve to a boom raising first supply line between the boom main control valve and a boom cylinder, is provided with a check valve that allows a flow from the boom auxiliary control valve toward a head side of the boom cylinder, but prevents a reverse flow.
