Siphon aid for siphoning grey water
09725887 · 2017-08-08 ·

Disclosed herein is a device for facilitating siphoning of greywater (graywater) or gently used water. An adapter is designed to fit onto the end of a hose or tube. The adapter is manually held tightly or attached by friction to a spigot or faucet. The faucet is turned on and running water primes the hose. The adapter is then placed under the surface of a collection of greywater in a sink, tub, clothes washer and the like. Greywater is then allowed to flow to a garden, lawn, cistern or other place where the greywater can be put to use instead of shunting it into a sewer. The device includes a funnel-shaped portion and a threaded portion. The device is made from a pliant material such as a silicone rubber or plastic.

Grey water interface valve liquid level sensor system

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally provide a grey water interface valve liquid level sensor system. The liquid level sensor system may deliver information about the water level and the water movement that occurs in a water reservoir. A control unit may then activate a valve to open so that the water can be removed via vacuum.

A FLUID DISPENSING SYSTEM, A SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING WASTE MATERIAL AND A FLUID MONITORING SYSTEM
20170254055 · 2017-09-07 ·

Described herein is a fluid dispensing system, a system for processing waste material and a fluid monitoring system and a method of monitoring the quality of a fluid. One embodiment provides a fluid dispensing system (1) including a fluid dispenser (3) in fluid communication with at least one source of a first fluid. An identification device identifies a user of the system and generates a user identifier. A processor (19) is responsive to the user identifier to access a database (27) to retrieve user data indicative of one or more user preferences and, in response, generate a control signal. One or more electrical sensors (25) are configured to sense a gesture motion from the user and, in response, generate a local input signal. An actuator system (29) is responsive to the control signal and the local input signal to dispense the first fluid from the fluid dispenser with predefined characteristics.

Drain diverted dirty water and continuously circulated clean water system
11352770 · 2022-06-07 ·

According to embodiments of the present disclosure is a water delivery system that continuously flows and recirculates clean water, diverting only water that has touched a user's hands. No sensing is required to activate the water flow and the actions of the user effectively divert the dirty water to a drain. The water delivery system comprises a clean water outlet, a clean water inlet, a dirty water drain, and a circulation pump. A stream of water continuously flows from the outlet and is received by the water inlet if the stream is uninterrupted. If the stream is disturbed, such as by the hand washing activities of the user, the stream is diverted from the inlet and instead falls into a sink and into the drain.
