MIXING HYDRANT

A fully serviceable frost proof mixing hydrant for supplying water at various temperatures to the exterior of a building. The mixing hydrant includes hot and cold water inlets and a chamber in which the water is mixed based on the position of a cammed wheel acting on a pair of poppets. These poppets act as temperature regulators and check valves to prevent cross-flow leakage and/or contamination. The mixing hydrant includes an inside tube or flow sleeve for delivery of water to an outside body tube in communication with a spout on the head of the hydrant. The flow from the inside tube to the outside body tube reduces turbulence and provides a better outlet flow from the spout. Flow control and temperature control are independent allowing the user to set the flow as desired then adjust the temperature as desired without affecting the flow. A turbulence reducer may be integrated in the vacuum breaker prevents leakage during use of the hydrant by reducing turbulence acting on the vacuum breaker poppet. Additionally, the user is able to service all aspects of the hydrant from outside the building

FAUCET INSULATION APPARATUS

The faucet insulator apparatus is a device which enables one to help protect a faucet and by extension connected pipes from cold weather elements. The invention is comprised of an insulation region and a capturing recess which provide a faucet cover for protecting a faucet against inclement weather. The portion of the inner walls of the faucet insulator, which come in contact with the faucet, are configured to deform and grasp the faucet to secure the faucet insulator apparatus to portions of the faucet's surface.

Automated anti-freeze system for sewer jetter system

An automated system for a jetter system, a method for automatically filling a sewer access system with antifreeze liquid, and a method for automatically recapturing antifreeze within a sewer access system are provided. The automated system may include: a control system configured to provide a normal operational mode, an auto antifreeze mode, and an auto recapture mode; a pump; first and second tanks, and conduits that connect these components. The system automatically fills the conduits with antifreeze liquid from the second tank and then can automatically purge the conduits of antifreeze liquid and return the antifreeze liquid to the second tank for later use in again filing the conduits with antifreeze liquid.

MODULAR TWO-PART SILLCOCK
20200165802 · 2020-05-28 ·

A two-part sillcock includes interior and exterior sillcock members selectively coupled to actuate a valve that controls fluid flow to a faucet. The interior sillcock member includes a flanged housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve with a stem including a coupling at the outlet end. The coupling is supported within the housing by an adapter adjacent the outlet end. The exterior sillcock member includes a flanged faucet including a handle shaft with a coupling at the inlet end. An adapter adjacent the housing outlet supports the valve stem coupling and guides and receives the faucet handle shaft coupling for engagement of the couplings. When the exterior and interior sillcock flanges are connected, the faucet handle shaft coupling is connected with the valve stem coupling, so that movement of the handle controls operation of the valve. A dual two-part sillcock includes two sillcocks connected by a mixing assembly.
