DIVERTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE DIVERTER
In accordance with an embodiment, a diverter is provided that is configured for use in a fluid delivery apparatus. The diverter includes body portion and a channeling structure, wherein the channeling structure extends from the diverter. A fluid pressure adjustment structure is adjacent the channeling structure. In accordance with another embodiment, a method for holding a diverter in position is provided that includes placing the diverter adjacent a fluid channeling structure, wherein a gasket is positioned between the diverter and the fluid channeling structure and wherein the diverter is configured to have a cavity containing a pressure actuated position holding structure. A fluid is directed through the fluid channeling structure towards the pressure actuated position holding structure. The pressure within the cavity is reduced in response to the fluid flowing towards the pressure actuated position holding structure, wherein the reduced pressure helps hold the diverter in position.
METHOD FOR DIVERTING A FLOW OF A FLUID
In accordance with an embodiment, a method for diverting a flow of a fluid is provided. The fluid is introduced into a conduit that has a central portion, an elbow spout, and a diverter. The spout is coupled to the conduit and the diverter is coupled to the spout. The inverter can be configured in a first position or a second position. In the first position, the diverter enables the fluid to flow through the spout and in the second position, the diverter inhibits fluid from flowing through the spout.
Device for a hose fitting
A device for a hose fitting having at least one cartridge housing with a first connecting piece or a spray plate with a second connecting piece and a hose, which can be connected at least to the first connecting piece or the second connecting piece, whereby further a clamping sleeve is provided, which clamps an end region of the hose on the outside at least to the first connecting piece or the second connecting piece and with an inward directed collar encompasses a projection of the first connecting piece or of the second connecting piece. A non-metallic, inseparable snap connection is formed with two clamping sleeves toward the cartridge housing and toward the spray plate.
Sanitary fitting having a fitting housing and a control unit
There is proposed a water fitting having a fitting housing, having a water outlet commonly assigned to at least two water inlets, wherein at least two parallelly guided water lines are provided between one or more water inlets and the common water outlet, and wherein, in the parallelly guided water lines, there is provided in each case one control element for opening and closing the water flow path, which water fitting can be used in a flexible manner for the greatest possible number of sanitary applications, for example in kitchens, bathrooms, swimming facilities, sauna facilities, toilet facilities, abattoirs or the like, both in (semi-) public and also private areas. This is achieved according to the invention in that, when a control element in one of the parallel water lines is open, the one or more further control elements in the one or more further parallel water lines are closed.
FAUCET COUPLING STRUCTURE
A structure for coupling a faucet or a similar device includes: a faucet with a connecting pipe portion extending there-from; a connecting body with an annular coupling portion formed at one end and connected to a liquid supply source to discharge liquid through the faucet; a fastening nut screw-coupled to the annular coupling portion; a pressing ring coupled to the connecting pipe portion; and a grab ring configured to grab an outer circumference of the connecting pipe portion to have the connecting pipe portion not to be detached from the coupling portion. The fastening nut can be detached from the coupling portion by rotating the faucet and the connecting pipe portion with the engaging configurations of the pressing ring and the fastening nut in engaged position, and an angular position of the faucet can be adjusted to a preferred position in assembly by rotating the faucet and with the engaging configurations of the pressing ring and the fastening nut in disengaged position.
Fluid delivery system with a housing and at least one fluid inlet and one fluid outlet
The invention provides a fluid delivery assembly for use with a water discharge fixture, such as a faucet. The fluid delivery assembly includes a tube assembly, a cartridge housing and a retaining assembly. The fluid delivery assembly provides for water flow from hot and cold water inlets to the faucet. The fluid delivery assembly may be assembled by hand without the need for tools, allowing for easy replacement of the fluid delivery assembly without the need to disassemble the faucet assembly or to replace the entire faucet assembly.
ROUGH-IN VALVE ASSEMBLY AND FLUSH PLUG
A flush plug for a rough-in valve, wherein the flush plug is configured to be removably disposed in a rough-in valve chamber, and comprises an inlet/outlet pair defining a flow passageway, wherein when disposed in the rough-in valve chamber, in a first flush plug position, the flow passageway is configured to provide flow communication between a first fluid source and a first plumbing outlet, and in a second flush plug position, the flow passageway is configured to provide flow communication between a second fluid source and the first plumbing outlet; and wherein the first fluid source and the second fluid source are not in flow communication.
MANIFOLD WITH INSERT FOR WATERWAY ASSEMBLY
The disclosure described herein relates to waterway assemblies and manifolds for waterway assemblies for use in water fixtures such as, for example, faucets. Examples of the manifold for a waterway assembly of the present disclosure include an insert with a pair of inlet tubes which are offset from a supply tube. A method of manufacture for the waterway assembly and manifold having the insert with a pair of inlet tubes which are offset from a supply tube is also provided herein.
Hair treatment process and system
A system for washing the hair, including a first reservoir for receiving a first liquid (L1) constituted by or comprising water, a second reservoir for receiving a second liquid (L2) including a treatment product diluted in water in an amount of less than or equal to 2.5% by weight relative to the total weight of the second liquid (L2), a shower head with a supply rate of between 0.3 and 5 L/min, configured to deliver a jet of droplets onto the hair. The shower head is further supplied with liquid, taken exclusively from one or other of the reservoirs, with an overpressure.
MODIFIED FAUCET HOSE SYSTEM AND VALVE ASSEMBLY
A system, a method, and an apparatus for a temperature-adjusting adapter is described. The adapter includes first and second connectors coupled to first and second supply lines, wherein each of the first and second connector comprise an input, an output, and an adjustment port; a tube and an adjustment mechanism positioned between the adjustment ports of the first and second connectors, wherein the adjustment mechanism is movable between an open position and a closed position for selecting a temperature of a third fluid exiting the output port of the first or the second connector, wherein the third fluid is one of the first fluid, the second fluid, or a mixture of the first fluid and the second fluid, and wherein a mixing ratio of the mixture is based at least in part on the position of the adjustment mechanism.
