Water faucet incorporating disinfecting features
A water dispensing unit adapted for communication with a water supply includes a spout configured to receive water from the water supply and dispense the water to a receptacle for consumption. The water supply includes water received from a municipal water supply and contained within a space directly upstream of a base of the spout. A flow of water from the water supply and into the spout via the base is a downstream water flow. A disinfecting mechanism operable to disinfect water in at least one of the spout or a space immediately upstream of the spout.
Proximity faucet power source detection
A fluid dispensing device and method for controlling the device are provided. The device includes a housing defining a fluid outlet. A valve controls the flow of fluid to the outlet. A sensor is configured to detect an object outside of and proximate to the housing. A solenoid is configured to move the valve between an open position and a closed position. A controller is configured to receive the output signal of the sensor, determine a characteristic of noise in the output signal such as a level of noise; adjust at least one of a sampling rate of the output signal and an amount of filtering of the output signal responsive to the characteristic of noise in the output signal, and transmit a control signal to the solenoid responsive to the output signal.
FAUCET ASSEMBLY
A pull-out faucet assembly, comprising a faucet body comprising a proximal end and a distal end; a spray head comprising a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the spray head is configured to be releasably docked at the faucet body distal end, and the spray head distal end comprises a water outlet; and an expandable hose comprising a first downstream end coupled to the spray head proximal end and an expandable hose length running through a length of the faucet body, wherein the expandable hose is configured to fluidly connect the water outlet to a mixing valve.
Water spout control device, water spout control system, and water spout control method
A water spout control device has a target object detector configured to detect a position of a target object as a detection target in a regional image according to an image information of the regional image. The regional image being generated by capturing an imaging target region including a faucet spout. A faucet spout port detector may be configured to detect a position of a faucet spout port of the faucet spout in the regional image. A determiner may be configured to determine whether to discharge water according to the position of the target object detected by the target object detector and the position of the faucet spout port detected by the faucet spout port detector.
Wet-area device and method for manufacturing wet-area device
According to one embodiment, a wet-area device includes a main part, a first layer, and a second layer. The first layer is provided on an outer surface of the main part. The second layer is provided on an outer surface of the first layer. A hardness of the second layer is greater than a hardness of the first layer. The first layer includes a first unevenness at a side of the outer surface of the first layer. The first unevenness includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions. The second layer includes a second unevenness at a side of an outer surface of the second layer. The second unevenness includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions. The second unevenness is arranged along the first unevenness. An average height of the first unevenness is less than an average length of the first unevenness.
Hose connector assembly, use of a hose connector assembly, and sanitary fitting
In the case of a hose connector assembly (1) it is provided for a retaining plate (15) to be used for axially fixing at least two hoses (6, 7, 8) in corresponding hose receptacles (3, 4, 5). The hoses (6, 7, 8) are insertable into respective recesses (16, 17, 18) of the retaining plate (15) by way of a lateral insertion movement (19), and the hoses (6, 7, 8) engage behind the recesses (16, 17, 18).
Pull-out faucet main body including valve core seat assembly and pull-out faucet
A pull-out faucet main body including a valve core seat assembly and a pull-out faucet are provided. The faucet main body is composed of a main pipe and a side wall branch pipe. The valve core seat assembly includes a valve core seat and a main body fixing seat. The main body fixing seat has a body that matches an included angle between the main pipe and the side wall branch pipe. A lug is additionally provided horizontally outward on an outer side of the body, and at least one water inlet channel and a water outlet channel which are independent from each other are provided in an inner cavity of the body, and the main body fixing seat is locked and fixed inside the main pipe by a nut, and the valve core seat is exactly engaged into the side wall branch pipe.
Tub spout diverter seal member
A diverter seal member for a diverter structure of a tub spout structure includes a central body, a first seal extension, and a second seal extension. The central body includes a first side, a second side, and an aperture extending completely through the central body between the first side and the second side of the central body. The first seal extension extends from the first side of the central body and around a central axis that extends axially through a center of the aperture. The first seal extension includes a first extension side, a second extension side, and an extension end. The extension end of the first seal extension extends substantially perpendicularly to the first extension side and the second extension side of the first seal extension. The second seal extension extends from the second side of the central body around the central axis of the aperture.
Manifold with insert for waterway assembly
The disclosure described herein relates to waterway assemblies and manifolds for waterway assemblies for use in water fixtures such as, for example, faucets. Examples of the manifold for a waterway assembly of the present disclosure include an insert with a pair of inlet tubes which are offset from a supply tube.
