In an immediate hot water supply operation mode in which a circulation pump is activated while a hot water supply faucet is closed, a water heating apparatus forms an immediate hot water supply circulation path by an inner path including a water entry path, a heat exchanger, and a hot water output path and an outer path bypassing the hot water supply faucet, as being combined. A controller stores as an actual flow rate value for each immediate hot water supply operation mode, a flow rate detection value by a flow rate sensor at predetermined timing, and calculates a flow rate learning value based on a plurality of stored actual flow rate values. When the flow rate detection value becomes larger than a criterion value set in accordance with the flow rate learning value, use of the hot water supply faucet is detected and the circulation pump is deactivated.

A two-way or four-way water faucet dispenses near-boiling water on demand but has a safety interlock. A control valve assembly is attached to the faucet. The interlock uses two disks pressed into contact, each having a single projecting sector. One disk is fixed to the valve body. The other disk, fixed to the handle, slides against the first. The disks must be pulled apart by sliding the handle while it is being turned to superimpose the sectors and turn the control valve, connecting the faucet to the vented near-boiling water supply. The present invention discloses a hot water dispenser comprising a water tank, an expansion chamber, and a Venturi module. The expansion chamber comprises a top shell, a bottom shell connected to the top shell, and a flexible bladder. Wherein, the water tank is connected to a dedicated faucet, the Venturi module is connected to a water source through the faucet, so when the dedicated faucet is closed, the expansion chamber then immediately creates suction and removes a part of the hot water from the water tank and into the expansion chamber to avoid hot water residue dripping from the faucet. In addition, when the water in the water tank is heated to its boiling point, a part of the hot water will be sucked into the expansion chamber to reduce the pressure in the water tank and prevent the hot water from being ejected out of the faucet due to vapour.

A mixing tap for dispensing water includes a tap body having a fitting end for fitting the tap body in or on a fitting opening, an spout fitted in or on the tap body and provided with a dispensing end, a mixing device arranged in the tap body. The mixing device includes a first inlet for cold water, a second inlet for hot water and an outlet for mixed water, and a hose having a nozzle. The mixing tap has an accommodation duct which runs from the fitting end to the dispensing end for receiving at least a portion of the hose. The safety device (10) comprises at least one grip member (12) for a user to hold when placing the safety device (10) on a tap. The safety device (10) further comprises a housing (14). The housing (14) comprises at least one side wall. When the safety device (10) is mounted on a tap having an operating mechanism, the side wall at least partially surrounds and projects beyond the operating mechanism in a direction which is aligned with a direction of movement of the operating mechanism.
