20190368171 · 2019-12-05 ·

A tub spout includes a fitting, an inflexible portion, and a flexible portion. The fitting is configured to be coupled to a plumbing fixture and to receive water from the plumbing fixture. The inflexible portion is configured to receive the fitting or configured to have the fitting integrated therein, be held adjacent a wall by the plumbing fixture, and receive the water from the plumbing fixture. The flexible portion is configured to be coupled to and extend from the inflexible portion, selectively receive the water from the inflexible portion, and selectively provide the water out of the tub spout.

A faucet having a base, an articulable spout, and a valve operable in an open position and a closed position to control the flow of water to the outlet. The base is configured to mount to a support. The spout includes an outlet for dispensing water and a plurality of segments operatively coupled together sequentially, with a first segment of the plurality of segments rotatably coupled to the base. The plurality of segments are rotatable relative to one another and to the base to move the outlet between a first position, in which the valve is in the closed position, and a second position, in which the valve is in the open position.

Clutched joint for articulating faucet

A joint for an articulating faucet includes a first housing, a second housing, and a clutch assembly. The first housing defines a first inner cavity and the second housing defines a second inner cavity. The second housing is coupled to the first housing such that fluid may flow from the first inner cavity to the second inner cavity. The clutch assembly is coupled to at least one of the first housing and the second housing and is configured to apply a resistive torque that inhibits movement of the first and second housings relative to each other. The clutch assembly includes a clutch pin, an interface member, and an end cap. The end cap is coupled to a first end of the clutch pin and the interface member. Movement of the end cap varies the magnitude of the resistive torque applied by the clutch assembly.

Water outlet device

A water outlet device includes a ball component. The ball component comprises an arc ball rod and a ball. Two water ports and a water channel located between the two water ports are formed in the arc ball rod. An angle is formed between the directions of the two water ports. The ball is arranged on at least one water port. The water channel penetrates through the ball. The two water ports having an angle formed between water flow directions thereof are formed in the water channel of the arc ball rod, so that the water outlet direction of the water outlet device can be adjusted to be upward, and the water outlet angle can be adjusted to some extent.

A hollow body fluidly coupling a water-dispensing pullout wand of a pulldown faucet to an applicator, the hollow body including openings therethrough between the pullout wand and the applicator, the openings enabling water applied to the hollow body from the pullout wand to flow outwardly therethrough and over the applicator from the hollow body between the pullout wand and the applicator.

TRUNCATED FILTER CAPSULE

Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources. A filter cartridge top cap includes a downwardly extending extension with a concave bottom end to redirect fluids undesirably entering the filter capsule from the outlet away from the enclosed filter media and out the outlet.

A water delivery device includes a plurality of magnetic joints each including a plurality of magnetic members, and a plurality of conduit sections each rotatably coupled to each other by a magnetic joint of the plurality of magnetic joints. The plurality of conduit sections collectively define a spout of the water delivery device. The spout extends from a first portion configured to be coupled to a mounting surface to a second portion configured to discharge a fluid. The water delivery device is configured such that magnetic joints located closer to the first portion include a greater number of magnetic members than magnetic joints located closer to the second portion.

A magnetic joint includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a first plurality of magnets spaced annularly apart from each other. The second member includes a second plurality of magnets spaced annularly apart from each other. The first member is rotatably coupled to the second member. The first member is configured to be coupled to a first component and the second member is configured to be coupled to a second component. The first plurality of magnets and the second plurality of magnets are configured to cooperatively define a plurality of rotational positions between the first component and the second component.
