An undermount sink system is provided for mounting beneath a countertop having an upper counter surface. The undermount sink system includes a sink basin and a discharge conduit coupled to the sink basin, which is positioned to expel fluid into the sink basin via an outlet thereof. The discharge conduit and basin are configured to mount to the countertop entirely below the upper counter surface. The flow of fluid through the discharge conduit may be activated via a motion sensor or switch coupled directly to the basin or a spacer ring positioned between the basin and the countertop. Controls for adjusting the temperature and/or flow rate of fluid through the discharge conduit may also be coupled to the basin or a spacer ring positioned between the basin and the countertop, or alternatively, to a surface of the countertop. Methods of making and using undermount sink systems are also provided.

Powered hygiene shower spray system

A powered hygiene shower spray system is provided. The system has a slide bar housing adapted for mounting to a shower chamber substrate. A moving head or spray nozzle is provided that is movable along said slide bar housing. A hose is in fluid communication between a water supply and the spray nozzle when the spray nozzle is moveably present. A control panel accepts user input as to a parameter of the spray nozzle. A drive mechanism is provided for moving the spray nozzle without user manual manipulation of the spray nozzle.

Truncated Filter Capsule

Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources. A filter cartridge top cap includes a downwardly extending extension with a concave bottom end to redirect fluids undesirably entering the filter capsule from the outlet away from the enclosed filter media and out the outlet.

A pressure gauge structure contains: a body, a positioning sleeve, outlet unit, a fixing member, and a guiding seat. The body includes a chamber and an abutting rib, and the abutting rib has a circular orifice and a noncircular locating rim. The positioning sleeve includes a locking portion retaining with the noncircular locating rim of the body, and the positioning sleeve also includes a connecting hole defined in the top thereof and aligning with the circular orifice. The outlet unit includes a coupling section inserted into the connecting hole from the circular orifice. The fixing member includes an aperture and is fitted and engaged in the positioning sleeve and connected with the coupling section to guide rotation of the outlet unit and to limit removal of the coupling section from the body. The guiding seat is fixed in the chamber and retains with the positioning sleeve.

CLUTCHED JOINT FOR ARTICULATING FAUCET

A joint for an articulating faucet includes a first housing, a second housing, and a clutch assembly. The first housing defines a first inner cavity and the second housing defines a second inner cavity. The second housing is coupled to the first housing such that fluid may flow from the first inner cavity to the second inner cavity. The clutch assembly is coupled to at least one of the first housing and the second housing and is configured to apply a resistive torque that inhibits movement of the first and second housings relative to each other. The clutch assembly includes a clutch pin, an interface member, and an end cap. The end cap is coupled to a first end of the clutch pin and the interface member. Movement of the end cap varies the magnitude of the resistive torque applied by the clutch assembly.
