MULTI-USE RESERVOIR THAT CONSERVES AND ALLOWS REUSE OF WATER
20190242096 · 2019-08-08 ·

Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for implementing a water saving mechanism. In one aspect, a reservoir is provided to collect cold water while hot water is being heated. Once a desired temperature is reached, a valve is actuated to allow water to bypass the reservoir and be dispensed through a shower head. The reservoir can be used to dispense the cold water at a later time.

WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL ASSEMBLY
20190234054 · 2019-08-01 ·

A water temperature control assembly for remotely controlling water temperature in a shower includes a control unit that is attached to a fluid valve in a shower to adjust a temperature of water that is delivered from the fluid valve. A showerhead is provided and the showerhead is fluidly coupled to the fluid valve in the shower for bathing. The showerhead is in wireless electrical communication with the control unit to remotely control the temperature of the water.

Shower head water collection structure

A shower head water collection structure includes a curved pendant, a fixing member, a temperature sensor, a temperature display, a pipe, and a water collection tank. The curved pendant is a hollow housing having a semi-circular arc shape. The curved pendant has an opening at a top thereof and a plurality of through holes at a bottom thereof. One side of the curved pendant is recessed downward from the top to form a curved groove portion for placement of a shower head. The temperature display displays the temperature of the water flowing out of the shower head detected by the temperature sensor. The pipe has one end connected to the bottom of the curved pendant and another end connected to the water collection tank. The initial water flow of the shower head flows through the through holes and the pipe to the water collection tank for recycling.

Sink system with faucet in sink cover

The invention is a sink system in which a faucet is embedded within a sink cover. This allows a user to completely cover a sink, making the sink space available for other work without the inconvenience of disposing of a separate faucet fixture. The invention comprises a sink basin and a hinged sink cover attached to the basin. The sink cover fits exactly within the sink basin. The sink cover doubles as a faucet. It has a channel, which may extend entirely or partially through the sink cover, which directs a flow of water from a source of water, through the channel, and into the sink basin. The sink system may also have sensors and valves to control temperature and water flow, a digital display panel that displays temperature and flow rate, a user interface, or a visual indictor of water temperature, preferably by means of LED lights.

KITCHEN ENVIRONMENT WITH ENHANCED USER EXPERIENCE AND ACCESSORIES

A sink system with various features that may provide improved functionality for kitchens and associated kitchen systems, particularly with regard to a user experience within a smart kitchen environment. In general, a sink system includes one or more sink basins integrated into a cabinet or housing, and a faucet coupled to the sink. The sink system can include a produce washing station in a second basin. The sink system can include smart features including audiovisual features for controlling various features of the sink systems. The sink system can also include a beverage or hydration station feature in which water can be customized for a user or for a desired end use of the water by the user. For example, flavors, vitamins, minerals, carbonation, filtration, instant hot, chilled, coffee, ice, and cocktails can be added into the water and dispensed by the sink system.

Thermochromic plumbing fixture device
12000124 · 2024-06-04 ·

The present invention relates generally to a thermochromic plumbing fixture device that is fastened with an indicator strip, which changes color depending on the temperature of the water exiting the fixture. The plumbing fixture may be any plumbing fixture known in the art but is preferably a faucet and/or a showerhead. Different embodiments may feature multiple indicator strips or may be finished with a thermochromic coating. In this manner, the device, or portions of the device, may change color as the temperature of the water heats up the thermochromic coating, which results in a user obtaining information about the water's temperature.

Tub faucet having a control valve with reduced backpressure

A water control system including a showerhead and a tub faucet. The faucet has a valve configured to automatically restrict fluid flow through the faucet and direct fluid to the showerhead as a function of a parameter, such as a predetermined water temperature. The faucet has many modes of operation, including a Reset Mode, an Auto-Divert Mode, a Bypass Mode, and a Cold Mode. A flow control device generates minimal back-pressure when in the Reset Mode such that water does not undesirably back flow to a shower head.

Hot water use warning device for faucets
20190153709 · 2019-05-23 ·

A low-cost hot water use warning device, having the shape of an aerator housing, including a metallic housing inner core (2) with threads configured for attachment to a faucet and a ridged indented channel for accommodating a thermochromic belt (6) or band that may constitute several layers including an outer thermochromic layer (10) capable of changing its color at a certain temperature, a second high thermal conductivity layer (11) made of copper for evening out temperature gradients and a third low heat conducting polymeric layer (12) for imposing a controlled delay. At each vertical side of the thermochromic belt are flanking wedge-shaped isolation grooves (7). The device operates as an awareness indicator for informing a faucet user of excessive temperature and duration of hot water use.
