SANITARY INSERT UNIT
A sanitary insert unit (6) is provided having an insert housing (2) which can be mounted on or in a water outlet (3) of a sanitary outlet fitting and in the housing interior of which there is provided a liquid path that channels water flowing through the housing interior. A jet splitter (9, 10) with a plurality of splitter openings (11, 13) is provided in the liquid path, and the splitter openings divide the through-flowing water into a plurality of individual jets. At least one grid or mesh structure (14, 15) follow the jet splitter (9, 10) in the liquid path, and at least one bypass duct (16) which bypasses the liquid path at least in certain portions is provided. The bypass duct (16) is formed as a nozzle for generating at least one accelerated liquid jet, and for this purpose, the at least one bypass duct (16) has a tapering clear duct cross section at least in a sub-portion.

Spout apparatus
The present invention is a spout apparatus including: a spout forming member configured to form a spout; a flow-guiding member provided inside the spout forming member, configured to guide water on an upstream side of the spout; an exposed flow-guiding member provided inside the spout forming member and on a spout side of the flow-guiding member, and exposed on a spout side of the exposed flow-guiding member; and a water channel configured to supply the water to an upstream side of the flow-guiding member. The exposed flow-guiding member and/or the spout forming member are configured to spout water from an outer periphery as an annular stream, among the water spouted from the spout. According to the above spout apparatus, the flow-guiding member can be effectively protected, and high guiding characteristics can be achieved in particular at an outer periphery of the spout.

Truncated filter capsule
Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources. A filter cartridge top cap includes a downwardly extending extension with a concave bottom end to redirect fluids undesirably entering the filter capsule from the outlet away from the enclosed filter media and out the outlet.
JET REGULATOR
A jet regulator (100) including a jet regulator housing (2) is disclosed, in the housing interior of which a perforated plate (5) is provided with a plurality of flow-through holes (6) for dividing the through-flowing water. The jet regulator described is characterised in that at least one flow-through hole (6) extends conically towards its outflow side in at least one outflow-side hole section. It is also possible for flow obstacles to be provided on the outflow side of the perforated plate (5) in the jet regulator housing (2) and/or on the outflow front face of the jet regulator housing, which are arranged or concentrated there in a central or middle region and which deflect the through-flowing water into an outer annular zone. This jet regulator (100) enables an aerated and thereby sparkling-soft water jet to be generated even with low flow-through performance and low water pressure.
Hot water use warning device for faucets
A low-cost hot water use warning device, having the shape of an aerator housing, including a metallic housing inner core (2) with threads configured for attachment to a faucet and a ridged indented channel for accommodating a thermochromic belt (6) or band that may constitute several layers including an outer thermochromic layer (10) capable of changing its color at a certain temperature, a second high thermal conductivity layer (11) made of copper for evening out temperature gradients and a third low heat conducting polymeric layer (12) for imposing a controlled delay. At each vertical side of the thermochromic belt are flanking wedge-shaped isolation grooves (7). The device operates as an awareness indicator for informing a faucet user of excessive temperature and duration of hot water use.
