Faucet attachment adapter
Methods and apparatus are provided through which in one preferred embodiment a faucet attachment adapter includes a seal, a seal housing, an adapter housing and a hose adapter. A first end of the seal is mounted to an interior of the seal housing. A second end of the seal is mounted to an interior of the adapter housing. The adapter housing is free to rotate relative to the seal housing. An end of the seal housing may be placed over a faucet or spigot. Rotation of the second end of the seal relative to the first end of the seal allows the seal to rotate between an open orientation and a sealing orientation around the faucet or spigot. An end of a hose is connectable to the hose adapter. A spray or scrubber attachment may then be connected to the other end of the hose. A locking mechanism may be utilized to prevent unwanted rotation of the adapter housing relative to the seal housing.
Jet breaker/aerator cartridge which can be manually disassembled and faucet comprising said cartridge
A jet breaker/aerator cartridge, manually screwable about a screwing axis (x) within the mouth of a faucet. The cartridge has an external casing made of preferably plastic material and an engagement portion provided with a thread on its external surface for screwing the cartridge within the mouth, and a gripping portion which extends downstream with respect to the engagement portion. The gripping portion has at least one radial protrusion protruding with respect to a central cylindrical body of the gripping portion. The radial protrusion allows application of a manual screwing force with an arm advantageously far from the screwing axis (x).

METHOD FOR REMOVING A JET REGULATOR FROM A FIXTURE OUTLET, JET REGULATOR, USE OF A JET REGULATOR RECEIVING AREA, AND SET CONSISTING OF A JET REGULATOR AND A TOOL
A method for removing a jet regulator from a fixture outlet, a jet regulator and to a set consisting of a jet regulator and a tool are provided, wherein the jet regulator has a housing and a latching element mounted movably on the housing. The latching element is adjustable by a force transmission from a spring element, which is arranged inside a cutout of the housing and is accessible from outside the fixture outlet, to the latching element. The latching element, in its rest position, protrudes over the housing in order to hold the jet regulator in the fixture outlet. A tool for removal purposes is inserted in an insertion direction into the fixture outlet, and the spring element is acted upon with the tool during the insertion operation until the latching element releases the jet regulator.

Truncated filter capsule
Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources. A filter cartridge top cap includes a downwardly extending extension with a concave bottom end to redirect fluids undesirably entering the filter capsule from the outlet away from the enclosed filter media and out the outlet.

SANITARY INSERT UNIT
A sanitary insert unit is provided having a jet regulator which has a housing with a housing inlet and a housing outlet, and a jets splitter in the housing interior. The jet splitter protrudes partially into a diffuser ring, delimiting an annular channel therebetween. The diffuser ring is insertable into an outlet-side housing part of the housing until an annular step on the outer circumference of the diffuser ring bears on an inlet-side mating surface on an outlet-side housing part. A circumferential locking cam on an outer circumference of the diffuser ring is movable into locking engagement with a locking groove provided on an inner circumference of the outlet-side housing part. The locking cam has a run-on bevel which interacts with a mating bevel upstream from the locking groove in an insertion direction that has a greater angle of inclination with respect to a longitudinal axis in comparison with the run-on bevel.
Jet regulator that can be pivoted into a cleaning position
A jet regulator having a sleeve-shaped jet regulator housing which is assembleable on the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting, and having a wall which supports a perforated structure that forms the outlet end side of the jet regulator and which in the jet regulator housing is pivotable between a use position, in which the perforated structure extends transversely across an outflow-side sleeve opening of the jet regulator housing, and a cleaning position, in which the water flowing through the jet regulator housing can flow out on both sides of the wall through opening gaps formed between the wall and the neighboring housing internal circumferential wall. The wall has a spherical-layer-shaped external circumference and via which it is pivotably mounted in a joint socket provided on the housing internal circumferential wall of the jet regulator housing. A handling element extends from the wall and is latchable on the outflow-side housing end side of the jet regulator housing.
