Apparatus, systems and methods for managing fluids
10125476 · 2018-11-13 ·

The present invention relates to apparatuses for managing the flow of fluids, such as, for example, water, through pipes. Specifically and without being bound by theory, the apparatuses of the present invention creates a backward pressure in fluid traversing a pipe, wherein the backward pressure within the pipe provides compression to the fluid effectively compressing entrapped gas bubbles within the fluid, allowing more accurate water meter measurements. Moreover, the apparatuses of the present invention provide backflow prevention. Embodiments include housing that may be disposed in-line with pipe sections having a width or diameter that is the same as or similar to the pipe sections connected thereto. Systems and methods for managing fluids are further provided.

A vacuum breaker includes a main body, a bushing, an elastic member, a braking member, a water stop gasket, a water inlet disk and a washer. The interior of the main body is provided with a positioning groove. The bushing is made of metallic material and has an exterior provided with a positioning protrusion secured in and combined integrally with the positioning groove of the main body. The bushing is extruded outward by an oil pressure to form the positioning protrusion. Thus, the bushing is combined with the main body integrally and will not be detached from the main body.

Water faucet device

An automatic water faucet device 1 includes: an electrolysis tank 37 that electrolyzes water to generate electrolyzed water; a second water discharge part 13 for discharging the electrolyzed water, a second flow path 18 that extends from the electrolysis tank 37 to the second water discharge part 13; a second solenoid valve 28 that switches between supply and blocking of normal water with respect to the electrolysis tank 37, and a controller 40 that controls the electrolysis tank 37 and the second solenoid valve 28. The controller 40 energizes the electrolysis tank 37 to discharge the electrolyzed water and thereafter stops the energization of the electrolysis tank 37 and maintains an open state of the second solenoid valve 28, to stop the supply of the electrolyzed water to the second flow path 18 and to supply normal water to the second flow path 18.

Insert part having a water-channeling cartridge housing

An insert part is provided having a water-channeling cartridge housing which is insertable into a housing holder in a water line. The water-channeling cartridge housing includes at least one encircling annular groove on an outer circumference thereof, and a sealing ring is arranged in this groove. The sealing ring has a ring cross section with a sub-region that projects radially outward beyond the annular groove. At least one component is assigned to the insert part and has an end side that is directed toward the insert part. The end side includes at least one retaining protrusion by which the component, in a latched position on the outer circumference of the cartridge housing, is latched to the cartridge housing to form a unit. Here, the at least one retaining protrusion is latched in the at least one annular groove that receives the sealing ring.

ACCURACY ENHANCING VALVE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
20180187788 · 2018-07-05 ·

The invention is directed to a method to improve accuracy of a meter. The method first contemplates introducing a desired fluid into a valve assembly having an external casing with an inlet, outlet and interior side forming a chamber. Next, a desired fluid contacts a toggle stopper having a shaft, plate, and guides. A calibrated spring positioned around the shaft in contact with the plate assesses if the desired fluid meets a predetermined pressure. If the fluid meets this threshold, the calibrated spring compresses thereby toggling plate within the chamber to allow desired fluid to enter the chamber. Should the total pressure of the desired fluid and/or an undesired fluid create a pressure that fails to meet the predetermined pressure, the calibrated spring expands to seal the valve assembly. Upon such seal, there is an equalizing of both the desired and undesired fluids to the same pressure by decreasing the volume of the undesired fluid, causing the calibrated spring to compress and reopen.

Bidet and Backflow Preventing Member Therefor
