PLUMBING FIXTURE FOR A SHOWER SYSTEM
20250320702 · 2025-10-16 · ·

The invention relates to a plumbing fixture (1) for a shower system (2), at least comprising a supply line (3) for supplying at least one liquid towards an outlet (4) of the plumbing fixture (1); a first connection (5) to the supply line (3) for switchably connecting the supply line (3) to a compressed-air line (6);
wherein a liquid present in the supply line (3) can be purged through the outlet (4) via the compressed-air line (6).

FLUID DETECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING THE SAME
20250347819 · 2025-11-13 ·

Fluid detection systems and methods using the same are disclosed. In embodiments the fluid detection systems include a sensor module and an electronics module. The sensor module includes a sensor housing that includes a liquid flow path and a sensor element disposed around at least part of the liquid flow path. The sensor element can detect a capacitance of the liquid flow path and provide a sensor signal to a controller in the electronics module. The electronics module can determine a detected capacitance in the liquid flow path based at least in part on the sensor signal, and can determine whether a wet event has occurred based on a comparison of the detected capacitance to a threshold capacitance. Methods using the fluid detection systems and fluid supply systems including the fluid detection systems are also disclosed.

Backflow alert system

A sprinkler backflow alert system includes a sprinkler system, a building fire panel, a backflow preventor including at least one shut-off valve, a fluid detection system, and a tamper switch. The backflow preventor may be fluidly coupled upstream of the sprinkler system. The fluid detection system is configured to detect a discharge of water from the backflow preventor and generate a water discharge signal corresponding to the backflow discharge. The tamper switch is configured to detect a change in a position of the at least one shut-off valve and generate a tamper signal in the event the at least one shut-off valve is closed or partially closed. When a backflow discharge event occurs, a signal is sent to the fire panel triggering the building fire alarm as well as sending an alert to the local fire department and facility owner.

Check cover assemblies for backflow prevention assemblies with integrated test cock protection shroud

A check cover assembly for a backflow prevention assembly having a body defining an interior housing a test cock. The check cover assembly includes a ball with a central aperture and a complementary groove in an outer circumference of the ball as well as a base including a shroud portion housing the ball to create a ball valve. The shroud portion defines an access gap for accessing an actuation feature slot with a landkey of the ball valve and a threaded opening. A coupling is attached to the threaded opening in fluid communication with the interior for connecting to testing equipment. The actuation feature is used to open and close the ball valve.

Modular valve assemblies with optional swing out

Modular valve assemblies are disclosed. In embodiments the modular valve assemblies include a first frame and a second frame. The first frame includes a fluid inlet and first mount, and the second frame includes a fluid outlet and a second mount. A connection element extends between the first mount and the second mount. At least a first modular block and a second modular block are disposed on the connection element and position between the first and second frame. The first and second modular blocks may each be rotatable about the connection element between a use position and a maintenance position. In the use position, a composite flow path extends from the fluid inlet, through a first fluid flow path in the first modular block, through a second fluid flow path in the second modular block, and to the fluid outlet. Rotation of the first or second modular block to its maintenance position moves the first or second fluid flow path, respectively, out of the composite flow path.
